This book borrows the understanding of flowers and their symbolic meanings. Most of which are derived from the European interpretation, from the Victorian period. I had the idea inspired by the Enola Holmes movies were the main character has a booklet on flowers from her mother. I hope this adds a bit of extra mystery to the story.
