Navia had liked Clarisse since the day she was welcomed to camp. She thought that the girl was so pretty, despite her attitude.
So, she did the only thing she knew how to do. She made a love letter. She wasnt gonna send it, that would just be stupid. Why would she send it if she knew she would get rejected?
But her siblings didnt like that. she was the daughter of Apollo, she needed to send out her beautiful poetry.
Navia didnt like the thought of it, but her siblings were nosy. They went through all her stuff, read her letter, and gave it to Clarisse.
Clarisse rejected Navia in the worst way possible. She publicly rejected her, and threw some insults in there.
Navia was crushed. Her whole mood changed. She turned into the kid at camp who was always moody and didnt want to be messed with.
I guess thats what rejection can really do to you.
