Today was a good-ish day for Navia. She met a new kid and got to know him a bit. They were friends now, at least to her they were.
That was until Clarisse ruined it all, like always. Navia already heard that Clarisse didn't like that Percy 'lied' about killing the minotaur. She wanted to show him that he's not as powerful as he thinks he is.
Navia thought it was a bit much. Like bullying a kid on his first day in a new place after his mom died? Pretty shitty.
But like always, Navia would probably just run right back into Clarisse's trap and start liking her all over again. For the fifth time.
But for now, she wouldn't stand for it. She was walking with Luke and Percy, telling the new one all about glory.
Then, of course, Clarisse ran into Percy. "Hey!" Clarisse turned around, pushing Percy to the ground. "Woah, hey. Knock it off, Clarisse. It's like his first day, come on." Luke tells her.
Navia goes to help up Percy. "Wait, so this is the kid who killed the Minotaur. Is that right?" Clarisse asks him.
"Yeah?" Percy asked. "I'll bet. Look, you want attention around here, dummy? You better be ready for it when it comes." Clarisse lunges at him, making him flinch.
She laughs and walks off. "Well, she seems nice." Percy says after she leaves. "Ares kids. They come by it honestly." Luke answers.
"Why don't they mess with you two?" Percy asks. "They know better." Luke responds. "Because Clarisse used to have a crush on me." Navia answers.
"Luke's the strongest swordsman at camp." Chris answers honestly.
"So, they leave you alone because 'glory'?" Luke nods. "So if I get glory, Clarisse wouldn't mess with me either?" Percy asks.
"Exactly." "Pretty much." Luke and Navia answer in unison. "And people think I'm a big deal?" Percy asks again.
"Well, sorta, but-" Percy cuts Luke off. "And my dad's got no choice but to claim me." Navia makes a weird face.
"I don't think you understand how this works." She says. "You can't force the gods to do anything." Luke adds.
"Well, yeah, but... it would make it harder to pretend I don't exist, right?" He asks again.
Navia thought about it a bit, and it made sense. Why wasn't she as smart as him when she first got to camp?
"Maybe." "Possibly." The two say in unison. "Well, great. Where do we start?"

Navia didn't care enough to give an offering. They probably wouldn't listen anyway. Besides, she didn't have much to ask for.
So instead of makings an offering, she was going through all her old stuff. She was looking under her bed, where all her papers were.
She found some weird letter. It wasn't addressed, which was weird because she always addressed her letters. She opened it, reading it carefully.

i don't make poetry as good as you but i can at least tell you my thoughts. i didn't mean to break your heart that day, i just said the first thing that came to mind. i actually like you, a lot. i could never tell you though. i'll just have to hope you find this letter after i'm over my stupid feelings.

C LR... Navia had to think about it. That was how Clarisse signs her name. But everyone knows that. It could be a prank.
Someone could be trying to get Navia to confess again. I mean, the whole camp knew about her crush. Everyone teased her about it.
Not in a bad way. More of like a, one day we'll all laugh about this way. But, it did look like Clarisse's hand writing. Maybe it was her.
Navia could only hope. She wasn't gonna tell anyone about it just in case it was a prank. But she probably would cherish it forever.

btw i didn't write the bathroom scene or capture the flag bc navia doesn't like capture the flag (100% canon) and she love percy too much to not fight clarisse in that bathroom meaning percy would never had done the toilet thing (also 100% canon)
