I woke up the next day, before her. The golden sun rays was falling on her face. The words "first ray of sun" was having its true meaning. I turned to face her. She was lying on her back. "How will I sleep, when you are staring at me like that." She said with a smirk. "You wish." I replied turning on my back. She turned towards me. "You have an ego. You were clearly staring at me." She said propping up on her elbow. "Don't flatter yourself." I said getting down from the bed. I stretched my muscles. They were sore from yesterday's incident. "What do you wanna eat?" She asked following my actions. "I'm gonna go to the clinic." I said taking my phone and wallet from the table. "But first you should eat something. You haven't eaten anything since last night." She said turning me towards her. She was very close. We were of the same height almost, but I was bit taller just because one of her feet was a bit shorter than the other, after her accident. We both were well built. She was in the basketball team and I was in the soccer team. My eyes went down to her lips. It was chapped; but it was better than my bleeding ones.

She realised the closeness and moved away a bit, letting me move out of the room. "Join me if you want." I said as I walked out of the house. She joined not long after. We walked to the clinic in silence. The nurse had plastered my nose and gave a few painkillers. I was going to pay for the treatment, but she insisted to pay for it.
We walked out after that. "Wanna go somewhere." I asked her. "Well yeah. It would be my honour to go somewhere with you." I rolled my eyes at her making her return a smug smile.
I took her to the old theatre.
"What is this place?" She asked roaming around curiously. "It is supposed to be the oldest theatre in the town. Well when I was 3 my parents brought me here for my birthday. Back then it was a functional theatre. I was too small to understand the drama plot, but I had liked the appearance, so I was happy." I was sitting on one of the dusty chairs.
"My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite."
She was on the stage quoting Juliet from Shakespeare and then laughing at her dialogue. I giggled with her. "And that's how you learn to laugh, my girl." She said jumping down from the stage, skipping towards me and then patting my head. "I know how to laugh," I said. "No you don't." She said. I just rolled my eyes at her childishness and got out of the row and started roaming around the place. My venture around the theatre was not peaceful, like I usually loved, but I liked this new normal, that was in front of me. She made me happy. She made do all the things that I had forgotten to do, in all these years.
We left the theatre and walked down the street. It was a bitter cold night. "By the way, will you let me crash at your house tonight?" She asked blocking my way. "Fine." I said and walk passed her. "Did River Garcia, the coldest living woman on this earth allow me to crash at her house in one go?" She dramatically gasped. "If you don't wanna, I can easily cancel your wish." I said with a smug grin on my face. "OMG SHE LEARNED TO JOKE AND LAUGH TOO! Oh my heart is going to explode with joy and satisfaction." She jumped on my back. "Dumbass, I had a fight yesterday!" I said throwing her on the ground. "Did you literally just throw your wife on the ground?!" She asked clutching her heart. "If you wanna come over, then hurry up and follow me, or else I'm locking the door and you'll have to wait till morning, for the door to be opened." I said crouching down in front of her and flicking her forehead. "Will follow your orders ma'am." She said jumping up and locking her hands into mine as she skipped along the way.
