The next morning
As y/n awoke in Five's bed, her attention shifted towards the door as a soft knock echoed through the room. She delicately rose from the bed, careful not to disturb Five's peaceful slumber. With a glance back at him, she couldn't help but smile at the sight of the man she had fought so hard to have by her side now peacefully sleeping in his bed.
Y/n tiptoed to the bedroom door, gently pulling it open to find Klaus on the other side, sipping a cup of coffee. Klaus raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Well, well, looks like someone had a pleasant night."
Y/n blushed slightly and placed a finger to her lips, signaling Klaus to keep his voice down. "Shh, Five's still sleeping. What do you need?"
Klaus chuckled and whispered, "Just checking if you're alive and well after your romantic rendezvous with our favorite time-traveling grump. Anyway, the family is gathering for breakfast, thought you might want to join."
Y/n nodded appreciatively, "Thanks, Klaus. We'll be down in a bit." Klaus winked and exited the room, leaving Y/n to close the door gently. She turned back to the bed, watching Five sleep for a moment longer. Y/n couldn't help but smile as she strolled back to the bed, a mischievous glint in her eyes. With a graceful movement, she gracefully crawled towards Five, who was peacefully immersed in his dreams. Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, Y/n leaned down, planting a soft kiss on Five's cheek. To her surprise, a smirk appeared on Five's face, and he whispered, "You missed."
Confused, Y/n tilted her head slightly, prompting Five to playfully point to his lips. Realizing the game, she chuckled softly and leaned in to capture his lips with hers. The room seemed to pause for a moment, and the connection between them grew stronger as they shared a sweet morning kiss.
As Five grinned into the kiss, he couldn't resist the playful urge to flip y/n over, now hovering over her. Y/n's giggle filled the room, and Five couldn't help but chuckle. As they both pulled away, catching their breath, Five finally opened his eyes, and the sight of y/n's beautiful face below him made his heart race. "Good morning," y/n greeted with a warm smile, and Five mirrored the sentiment, replying, "Morning," with a happiness that reflected in his eyes.
Five leaned in slightly, looking at y/n with a genuine curiosity. "Did you sleep well?" he inquired, a hint of concern in his tone. Y/n grinned as she recalled the details of her restful night. "Oh, I slept like a baby. Your bed is surprisingly comfortable," she teased, nudging him playfully.
Five raised an eyebrow. "Surprisingly? I'll have you know that comfort is a top priority when you've been through as much as I have."
Y/n chuckled, enjoying the banter. "Well, it's a good thing I found out about it." Five smirked, "You're lucky you found me, or you might have been stuck with a less comfortable bed."
Y/n pretended to gasp dramatically. "Oh, the horror! I shudder at the thought."
Five chuckled, "Well, you're stuck with me now. Better get used to it."
Y/n grinned, "Stuck with you, huh? I think I can handle that." Y/n chuckled and mentioned, "Klaus did say breakfast is ready. We better not keep the family waiting."
Five smirked, "I'm sure they can survive a few more minutes without our presence."
Y/n playfully rolled her eyes, "Well, aren't we the rebels. But seriously, we should go down before they send a search party."
They both laughed and got up from the bed. Y/n browsed through Five's closet, finding a random T-shirt and a pair of jeans. She shrugged and decided that it was good enough for the morning. As she took the clothes, she turned to Five with a teasing smile, "Hope you don't mind me borrowing these. Your wardrobe is surprisingly casual."
Five chuckled, "Feel free to raid my closet anytime. Just don't make it a habit of stealing all my clothes."
Y/n winked, "No promises," and headed towards the bathroom to change. Meanwhile, Five shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. The thought of y/n wearing his clothes seemed to amuse him more than he expected.
Y/n gasped as she entered the bathroom and saw mirror shards scattered across the floor. The memory of Five mentioning punching the mirror a couple of nights ago flashed in her mind. She hesitated, carefully navigating around the broken glass to avoid injuring herself. Y/n carefully dressed herself in the T-shirt and jeans she found in Five's closet, making sure to avoid any discomfort from the broken glass in the bathroom. Once she was ready, she walked out of the room, leaving the shards behind.
Y/n grabbed a hairbrush from a dresser drawer and stood in front of a mirror on the wall, gently brushing through her hair. As she worked through the strands, she caught sight of her reflection. Five walked up behind y/n, a playful grin on his face, and wrapped his arms around her waist. He rested his chin on her shoulder, peering into the mirror to meet her gaze. He whispered in her ear, "You look gorgeous this morning, darling." Y/n smiled at his compliment and responded, "Thank you, you look very handsome this morning."
Five planted a gentle kiss on her cheek, then continued to trail soft kisses down to her neck. Y/n closed her eyes, savoring the warmth of his lips against her skin. Y/n chuckled as Five attempted to leave a mark on her neck. "Five, no. We have to go downstairs," she protested playfully. He grinned, looking at her through the mirror, and teased, "But how will they know that you're mine?" Y/n, feeling a bit flustered, gently pulled away from Five's playful advances. "Alright, enough distractions," she said with a smile. "We really should head downstairs; everyone's probably waiting for us." With that, they left the room together, ready to join the Hargreeves family for breakfast.
