On a normal day, Tsuki was at school, minding his own business until a short purple-headed boy bumped into him. Tsuki got angry and shouted out "Hey! Watch where you're going, nerd..". The purple headed boy then brushed it off and stood up while picking up his books, he looked down at his feet while saying "S-Sorry... I'll be more careful" and quickly ran away. Tsuki then said to himself, "Tsk.. what a nerd.. he better not get in my way again".
The next day had arrived, Tsuki went to school again as usual and went to his first class. Tsuki sat down on his seat and listened to the teacher. The teacher then said to the whole class, "We will be having a project today, I will be assigning the person who works with you today". As the teacher was assigning people to work in projects together, she quickly said "Okay, the first two people are Tsukishima Kei and Kokichi Oma". Tsuki immediately got annoyed and pissed off as he murmured to himself.. "Damn it! That nerd?! There's no way, the teacher has got to be playing with me".
After class, Tsuki followed Kokichi to the cafeteria as he sat next to him while putting his arm around his shoulder and said "Hey idiot, just so you know we'll do the project at my house. Don't mess up, or I'll beat you up!" Kokichi got a little startled and blushed a bit while saying "Alright.. I'll try my best..". Tsuki then sighed and walked away from Kokichi and went to go eat lunch with his own friends.
After school had ended, Kokichi went to Tsuki's house to get the project done. Kokichi was still wearing his school uniform as he did not want to be late or upset Tsuki since he knew he had no power over him. As Kokichi was knocking on Tsuki's door after arriving at his house, Tsuki quickly opened the door and shouted "Hey idiot! You here for the project, huh? Come in". Kokichi entered Tsuki's house as Tsuki closed the door behind him. The both of them went to Tsuki's room and closed the door to start working on the project, Kokichi sat down on the carpet as well as Tsuki until Kokichi suddenly said "H-Hey.. um.. Tsuki, before we get started on the project.. I have a few questions". Tsuki rolled his eyes as he spoke "Sure, sure... whatever. What is it, nerd?". Kokichi then quickly said "Well.. to start I would want to ask why you keep referring to me as a 'nerd' or an 'idiot'. I-I'm not mad! I'm just curious as to why you keep saying such things without knowing me fully..". Tsuki then made a 'hmph!' sound as he spoke out loud "It's a part of my personality, I don't like being so mushy and kind. It irks me. Now, shut up and let's get this project over with". Kokichi nodded and started working on the project with him, as he was doing that he usually glanced at his eyes or zoned out at random times. Tsuki got annoyed by this behavior after a while and quickly grabbed Kokichi's chin and pulled him closer as he said "Hey nerd! Stop zoning out, I know you're not focusing! I'm putting effort into this, at least you should too. Now get working or it's game over for you!". Kokichi blushed a little as he moved away from Tsuki and said "Sorry.. you're just.. pretty". Tsuki got surprised but brushed it off, he thought Kokichi was just trying to boost his ego so he wouldn't beat him up.
After the project had been done, Tsuki then sighed and wiped the sweat off of his forehead and spoke "Finally. We're done. Now, before you go.. do you want any food? It's pretty late anyway and we've been working for hours. Thanks, I guess.. nerd!". Kokichi slightly smiled as he nodded and stayed a bit longer to eat some food before leaving. As the both of them were eating in Tsuki's room, Kokichi looked at Tsuki and said "Tsuki.. u-um.. I mean.. Tsukishima, thanks for the food. And thanks for getting the project done with me. I promise I won't bother you anymore after this. It was quite a coincidence that we got paired up together..". Tsuki nodded and stayed quiet to finish eating his food, he then glanced into Kokichi's eyes while blushing a little. He surely had a soft spot for someone he just met a day ago.
A week later, Kokichi and Tsuki had become pretty great friends but they usually never hanged out a lot. Mainly since it was quite awkward whenever they did. Over the weekends, the both of them were hanging out at Kokichi's house to get to know each other better. They were becoming friends yet they still never talked much about each other. Kokichi broke the silence between the both of them and said to Tsuki "Hey.. uh.. Tsukishima, have you ever kissed anyone?". Tsuki got surprised by that question, more importantly because it was coming from Kokichi's mouth. Tsuki then replied with "No, why?". Kokichi then replied back and said "Well.. I want to know what it feels like, I have never kissed anyone for as long as I remember and I really want to know how it feels like to do so. Do you think you could let me try with you? I-I definitely don't like you or anything! I would never.. I'm not gay. I just know I'll never have a real relationship but I want to experience a kiss at least before I get older..". Tsuki rolled his eyes and said "No way nerd... but I'll do it anyway since your poor self will never get a girlfriend. But I definitely will, Ha!". Kokichi then blushed and said "Alright... thanks.. I guess". The both of them slowly got closer, Tsuki then made the first move as he leaned in and closed his eyes as he gave Kokichi a small but soft kiss. Kokichi's eyes lit up as he enjoyed it. Kokichi pulled away from the kiss and said "Uh.. well. thanks.. that was enjoyable. But your breath stinks..". Tsuki got offended and said "Hey nerd! What the fuck are you talking about?! I literally brush my teeth everyday, my breath smells like Gucci if anything". Kokichi giggled as he looked at Tsuki. Kokichi never really knew Tsuki fully but he never knew why he had his own little crush on him, that kiss just lit up his whole world.
