-2 weeks later-

After a while, bular and gunmar has been enjoying themselves in peace.
Although, Gunmar and katie's mom has been enjoying teasing bular, and katie.

But strickler has been acting a lot strange lately and has informed everyone that he will be taking sometime off.
The trollhunters, gunmar, and bular has been keeping a close eye for any dangers, and has been keeping an eye out for katie's father.

Till one day.
Bular, and katie was walking around arcadia, busy patrolling the place for any dangers.
Bular then looks over at katie and noticed her watching out for any humans.
He then gave a slight sigh, "You know, you don't always have to go on patrols with me." Bular exclaims.

Katie turns to him with a slight confused look, "What does that suppose to mean?" Katie asks with a raised brow.

Bular decides to walk over to her and nudge his head into her, "I just don't want you to get hurt or any of the sorts." Bular exclaims.

Katie places a hand on his cheek and placed her forehead with his, "As long as i am with you, nobody would dare touch me." Katie exclaims.
"If they did then they would be dead in seconds." Katie joked.

Bular gave a slight chuckle.
He then licks her forehead, "Alright, let's go." Bular exclaims, whilst he turns back to the patrol.

They then came across the park, they looked around the park, but katie soon noticed strickler.
She quickly turns to bular and pulls him behind a bush, bular gave a slight confused look, but katie manages to keep him quiet and pointed to a person.
Bular looks over and noticed strickler.

"What is he doing here? I thought he was having sometime to himself?" Bular questions with a confused look.

katie shrugs, "I don't know, lets see what he is about to do." Katie exclaims.

They both watched strickler, and it would seem that he is waiting for something... Or someone.

A car soon pulled up, which strickler noticed and walks over to the car.
Bular and katie kept their distance and listened carefully.
They soon noticed a person stepping out of the vehical. Katie gave a quiet gasp when she realised that it was... Her father.
Bular noticed katie's expression and knew that it was her father.

Katie's heart raced as she watched her father step out of the car. Memories flooded back—his warm smile, the stories he used to tell her. She had missed him terribly.

"Bular," she whispered, gripping his arm tightly. "That's him."

Bular shifted, his protective instincts kicking in. "What's he doing here with Strickler? Is he in danger?"

Katie shook her head, trying to process the situation. "I don't know. We need to find out what's going on."

They watched intently as Strickler greeted her father with an uneasy smile. The conversation seemed tense; Strickler gestured animatedly, while her father looked around, scanning the area nervously.

"Let's get closer," Katie suggested, her voice barely above a whisper.

Bular nodded, cautiously leading her through the underbrush. They crept closer, hidden behind a cluster of bushes, their hearts pounding in sync with the rising stakes.

"Listen, Dad," Katie's father said, his voice strained. "I can't stay long. I need to know that you're safe. They're looking for you."

Katie's breath caught in her throat. "Who's looking for him?" she murmured to Bular.

"Could be anyone," Bular replied, his eyes narrowing. "We should be ready for anything."

As Strickler leaned in closer, his expression shifted from concern to something darker. "You have to trust me. The Trollhunter's not the only one who can protect you. You need to come with me."

Katie's father hesitated, glancing back toward the park's entrance. "And leave Katie? No, I won't do that."

Katie felt a mix of relief and frustration. "He's trying to protect me," she whispered. "But what does Strickler want?"

Suddenly, a loud noise echoed from the park's playground, drawing their attention. A group of teenagers were playing, oblivious to the secret meeting unfolding nearby. Strickler turned sharply, his eyes narrowing.

"Stay here," Bular instructed, his voice low but firm. "I'll check it out."

"No," Katie insisted, grabbing his arm. "We can't let him face this alone. If Strickler is involved, we might need to confront him together."

Bular sighed but nodded. "Alright, but we need to be careful."

They edged closer, positioning themselves behind a tree, the shadows cloaking their movements. As they listened, Katie's heart thudded louder than the chaos of laughter from the playground.

"Strickler," her father said, his tone growing urgent. "If they find out I'm here, it won't just be me they're after. They'll come for Katie too."

"I know," Strickler replied, a hint of desperation creeping into his voice. "That's why I'm trying to help. We can't keep running forever."

Bular clenched his fists, his instincts flaring. "We need to intervene now," he whispered, ready to leap out of their hiding spot.

Katie took a deep breath, feeling a surge of determination. "No, wait. Let's hear more first."

Just then, a shadow fell over them. Both Katie and Bular froze, realizing they had been spotted.

"Hey! You two!" a voice called from behind. It was one of the teenagers, pointing at them with wide eyes. "What are you doing over there?"

Katie's heart sank as Strickler turned, his eyes locking onto theirs. "You!" he shouted, anger flashing across his face. "What are you doing here?"

In that moment, everything shifted. Katie knew they were no longer just observers; they were part of a much larger game.

"Run!" Bular shouted, grabbing Katie's hand as they bolted away, adrenaline surging through them. Behind them, the confrontation escalated, and Katie knew they had just stepped into a world of danger that would change everything.
