My friend Marcie chews a lot. Not like she's a big eater or anything. But when she's bored she chews on her hair or sucks on a paperclip and when she's hungry, she bites her nails. She was going over the rehearsal schedule for the winter musical with me while eyeing my Snickers bar and biting away ferociously on her nails chipped with red paint. "Yeah, see, there's all this corporate alumni funding and PTA political super pac sway that affects our resources and creative liberty! It's so straight." (Marcie used the word straight in the same derogatory way others used 'gay'-it was her small but noble contribution to the LGBT cause).
