Nalu Week 2015

Day 1: Wander

"NATSU!!" He could hear his father, Igneel, calling him, but he didn't bother turning around. He heard a voice, it was strange. They never heard anyone, not where they lived.

"Now....where are you?" A 7 year old pinkette, Natsu, muttered under his breath. Animatedly, he crept up to a rock and picked it up, legit thinking that the voice could have come from there. Seeing the bugs underneath it, he shrieked like a girl, dropping the rock back down in the process.

A small giggle made him freeze. Turning around slowly, he was met with the sight of a cute, little blonde haired girl. Her caramel brown eyes shown with mirth as she stared at him in amusement.

"Haha, you scream like a girl!" Her laughter only grew louder. His cheeks grew warm in embarrassment, he knew he was blushing.

"H-hey! Stop laughing!!" She ignored him and laughed a little louder before quieting down, wiping a nonexistent tear from beneath her eye.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She apologized, but not even she believed herself. After busting out laughing again, she finally stopped. Allowing him to finally ask the question he's been wanting to ask for a while now.

"How did you even get here?" His tone was firm, defensive even, as he spoke. She flinched a little at his cold glare.

"I d-don't know." She managed to squeak out.

"Huh?" He seemed dumbfounded for a moment, but composed himself, "I know you're lying, how did you find me?!"

"I'm not lying! I told you I don't know!" She was getting impatient, why doesn't he believe me, "I was just wandering around the forest and ended up here." She waited for him to respond, but he didn't, "That okay with you?"

"No!" He finally spoke, "It's not okay with me!" Now she was getting annoyed.

"And why is that?"

The question stumped him, he didn't have a reason, "Uh, I -er...It's just not!" She sighed, already knowing that the boy in front of her was a complete idiot.

"Okay...then if I'm not welcome here, mind helping me find my way home?" She asked, one eyebrow raised.

"Fine, whatever." His bored tone changed to confidence, "Besides, I know this forest better than anyone. You'll need someone like ME to lead the way!" His eyes shone in determination as he forcefully took her hand and dragged her out of the woods.

Oh great, she thought while sweat-dropping, he's cocky too.

Heyy!! I have no idea if this is actually gonna post on the right day, sooo....It's suppose to be posted on July 1st.

Just in case you were wondering, I'm visiting my relatives and I don't know if they're wifi will be able to post this...but I'm pretty sure it will.
