Nalu Week 2015

Day 7: Happy

The sun shone brightly on the city of Magnolia, marking the start of a new day. In a particular apartment, in the middle of town, two teens were just getting up.

Lucy's eyes slowly opened, due to the bright light shining through a nearby window. Yawning, she began to sit up, only to be stopped by a heavy weight lying across her waist.

The blonde squeaked, staring down at her pink haired best friend. Looking around, she realized that they were fully clothed.

"Phew," she breathed a sigh, "nothing happened." She began her attempt to get out of his grasp again, but he just held her tighter to his chest.

"N-Natsu!" She gasped, cheeks taking on a light rose color.

A groan came from said boy as one eyes snapped open. His onyx orbs meeting her brown ones. Without realizing they're situation, he greeted her normally, "Oh! Heya Luce!" A bright, childish grin spread across his face, making Lucy at a loss for words for a moment. She quickly composed herself.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM!!" She screamed dramatically, chucking whatever she could find at her annoying best friend.

"Huh? Oh, well it was late and I didn't feel like walking all the way to my house last night." He smiled, "So I thought you wouldn't mind me staying here." He lied, but everyone thought he was dense already, so why not act like it. He knew she would freak out, but it was worth it.

"WELL I DO MIND!!" She continued yelling at him, then a thought struck her, "AND WHY WERE YOU IN MY BED??!!"

"It was cold on the floor." He stated in a matter-of-factly tone.

"You're a fire dragon slayer, YOU DON'T GET COLD!" Crap, he thought, she caught me, I gotta come up with a better excuse.

"Welll...you're bed is comfy!" He pointed out.

"THEN BUY YOU'RE OWN!" Lucy screamed back, now sitting in standing of him, arms spread out in an exasperated manor. She had a point there, but if he bought his own, he wouldn't get to sleep in her bed. It wasn't the bed that made it so special, it was the fact that it was hers.

"Wel-" Before he could come up with another excuse, a furry blue cat flew through he window at full speed.

"HEY NATSUUUUU, HURRY UP AND GET TO THE GUILD!!!--" He was going so fast he didn't have time to stop in time. He rammed into Natsu, causing his lips to smash into Lucy's. Both they're eyes snapped open immediately and Happy floated in the background, slack jawed.

"W-well me and Happy better get going. See you at the guild!" He frantically spoke, already out the window and walking down the familiar path to the guild, leaving the blond wide eyed and confused. Blushing like crazy.

Meanwhile, Natsu was practically running to get to the guild, with happy trailing behind. But the sneaky blue cat didn't fail to miss the light blush dusting his partner's cheeks.

"You liiiiiiike her!" He teased, making some sort of weird face.

"N-no I don't!" Natsu defended, though the way he looked away blushing an even deeper shade proved otherwise.
