I started walking along the shore of the beach, I noticed it started to get gloomy. I sat down on a rock that was round enough to not poke me.

I looked around and took a deep breath. I took out my journal, and I started to write.

I loved writing. It was especially peaceful in this type of weather. I feel like I could just write down my thoughts and feelings all in one go. My dad used to write stories, I would always hear the story first before he published them. He would dedicate his books to me and I had a whole self for his work.

I was suddenly slightly shoved and I quickly jerk my head over my shoulder to see who was there.

It was Percy. I haven't seen him for a few days and I was starting to get anxious.

"Hey, how's it going?" He asked
"Just fine, you?"
"You don't sound too happy, you sure?"
"Yes, I apologize. I'm just tried and you caught me off guard."
"If you say so, anyways i'm doing okay."
"Anything new?"
"Nah, nothing really."

I looked back at the ocean in front of us, and let out a deep sigh. I was just really tired because I hadn't gotten a lot of sleep but i'm glad percy was there. He's like a breath of fresh air.

Percy took out something out of his pocket.
It was a blue pancake that was wrapped in a napkin.

"Share?" I begged

He side eyed me and said
"Girl bye, i'm hungry."

I stare at him for a hot minute before laughing uncontrollably. He joins me and starts to pick me up and puts me over his shoulder running around the beach.

"Percyyy, put me down!!"

"No ma'am." He starts to get close the water and pretends to throw me.

"You in the mood for a swim?" he asked

I had my swimsuit under my sweater. The weather today was kinda chilly so I was hesitant at first. Then I saw percy take off his shirt and jump into the water.

I smiled at his boldness and took off my sweater and jumped in as-well.

"Copycattt." He said teasingly

I splashed water on him playfully and he sent a wave over me.

"PERCYYY" i said slightly mumbling trying to come out of the water.

Percy grabs me from underwater and puts me over his shoulders.

Which is apparently his favorite thing to do. Ever since he figured out he could easily pick me up, it's been non stop. I find it as his way of making fun of me.

We were able to watch the sunrise — at least I was, Percy was acting like a little kid, floating around and making shapes with water.

It was kinda cute, if i'm being honest. Seeing him be all playful, he's normally more serious. Im glad i can bring out that side of him.

Percy looked over at the sunrise then glanced at me. I noticed that I was staring at him and my face felt warm. He smiled and splashed water at my face.

"Oh my gosh, i hate you."

"You know you love me."

"Ha! In your dreams." I remarked as I tried to tackled him

Which was a complete fail. He obviously didn't budged and laughed at my attempt. I was suddenly holding onto him and we made eye contact for what felt like forever.

His face shifted into a light pink and he awkwardly looked away.

"Alright, we should get dried."
