It has been what I think is 3 days since the man has come back. I am so hungry the pain in my stomach is almost as bad as the pain in my leg. The skin on my limb is so tight it feels like it is going to burst. I think it's infected I can't tell. It's still dark I can't see anything. I haven't drank anything my lips are so dry they are starting to crack. I thought of drinking my urine that is in a bucket I found but I can't bring myself to do it. I grasp my stomach as another rumble goes through sending a wave of nausea with it. The room I am in is dirty and cold I think it's a basement but it's hard to tell in the dark. I can't stop shivering I can't tell if it's from the cold or the fever from the infection. I miss Jack so much, I hope he is okay, I want to cry but there is nothing left. I wake, cry and black out from the pain it has been the endless loop since I have been here for what feels like an eternity.
I wake from my latest black out and the lights are on, it's so bright it burns my eyes, I can't see it's nothing but white light it takes time for my eyes to adjust and I can see my surroundings. I am in a basement the floor is dirty I can see a mouse in the corner nibbling on something I can't make out. There are cobwebs everywhere. I am laying on a dirty stained mattress it is as thin as the ones they give in prison, that's where I am, prison. There is nothing else in the room besides my bucket and the work bench. I inspect my injuries, I think my nose is almost healed the swelling has gone down, there are bruises all over my arms and legs. I can almost feel my ribs. My wrist is dark purple in color but worst of all is my leg. It's huge the swelling is indescribable, the hardness I felt was my bone, the wound around it is green and pus is coming out of it, the sight makes me gag but there is nothing to come out I still haven't eaten I don't know how long it has been now. There is a door next to the work bench but there is no other exit that I can see. I hear the nob on the door jiggle and I squeeze my eyes shut again. I hear him shuffle towards me and he grabs on to my injured wrist again and sits me up a round of pain courses through my body. He is still wearing the mask but he is holding a bowl and a bottle of water. He hands them to me and I gulp the water, I force myself to stop because I don't know when he will bring me more. I eat the food slowly its oatmeal it's the most delicious oatmeal I have ever ate. My stomach grows sick from eating for the first time but I keep eating. When I am done eating the man pats my shoulder causing the hair on my neck to stand and exits. He returns and sits on the floor across from me cross legged and stares at me. "Who are you" I choke out. He doesn't answer just continues to stare. "Where is Jack?" No answer, I begin to sob. "Someone will come looking for me when they find my car" the man speaks for the first time, his voice is so familiar but I still can't place it. "Who do you think is gonna come look for you? Your old bag of a mother or your little boyfriend Art? He has probably already forgot about you and moved onto the next slut." I feel my heart break. I sob harder. He stands up and slaps me. "Quit crying you whiny bitch." I try to choke back the tears but they keep coming. He grabs my hair and bangs my head off the wall causing me to black out again.
