Despite our initial thoughts, Obi-wan and I weren't called on for a mission for quite some time, meaning that the following weeks were a lot less hectic than our first few days together. It took some time for us to get used to each other daily routines. Obi-wan always woke up surprisingly early, and he was always setting a cup of tea for us when I entered the living area. He also always meditated in the mornings, windows open and curtains drawn to let in as much of the outside sun and air as possible, while I usually busied myself with watering our little jungle. I didn't mind at all, and the plants certainly didn't either, my sunflower happily bathing in the sun beside Obi-wan's.

One thing that had scared my master a bit, was when master Che, the main medic at the temple, showed up at our doorstep. It was time for my vaccinations again, but I had completely forgotten to tell Obi-wan. I'd been isolated from other sentient beings for so long, that I never really developed an immune system that could deal with what was customary for jedi and initiates, which was admittedly a lot. So I got vaccines about every six standard months to give it a little boost, so that I could build up 'memory', as master Che liked to call it. We'd already learned the hard way what would happen if we didn't. When I explained, Obi-wan was relieved it wasn't anything that bad after all.

I also still had classes with my clanmates, which were fine if you didn't include all the exams I'd missed while I'd been away. Yoda had sent Ahsoka and I on our mission in the middle of the exam period, and I was now paying the price for it. Many of my nights were spent slaving over books and charts, Obi-wan supplying me with tea and the occasional comment or piece of advice.

I also had private lessons with my master, where we mainly focussed on my newly acquired grasp of the physical force. It was still sloppy in many ways, but droids weren't as invisible as they were before, and it became a lot easier to predict when and where they would fire, the deflected blaster shots now actually hitting back. Most of my time in the dojo was thus spent blindfolded, sensing where the dastard little training droids were floating and where they would fire. Safe to say it became a new routine for Obi-wan and me to apply bacta to the burns I'd acquired that day during dinner.

On the lucky occasion that Obi-wan let me work on my lightsaber forms, he drilled me on the katas of Soresu and Ataru. Especially his Soresu katas were killing. They were so simple it was almost laughable, but they had to be executed with such intensity and repeated so many times, that by the end of it, I always ended up as a panting and sweaty mess on the dojo floor. But our fight with Ventress had made it abundantly clear that my forms deeded much, much work, and I was glad for it when after just a couple weeks of this drilling work, results were showing during my time with my clan. I could go on for longer, my strikes were stronger and more precise, and while they still beat me when it came to the practice droids, I made them work their ass off during sparring.

This routine couldn't have gone on for too long though, and it wasn't long until we were assigned another mission. In an effort to locate count Dooku, they had devised a plan to fake Anakin's capture, and it was now up to Obi-wan to free him and capture the dreaded count.

That's how, weeks after our mission on Christophsis, Ahsoka and I found ourselves standing on the bridge of the Resolute, watching as the cruiser opened fire on the separatist ship.

"Is it really a good idea to start firing while our masters are still inside of that thing?" I questioned the Togruta standing beside me.

"We always try to not blow up the ship before they get off." She said, sharing a knowing look with Rex.

I raised my eyebrow at her. "That's happened before?"

She only shrugged at me with a smirk, crossing her arms as we watched the explosions. I shook my head. She and her master really were an interesting pair.
