"You know your timing is always on the spot. You ain't doing anything to work with, old man?" Ronan asked.

"Look who's talking." Eruhaben snickers and grabs the old fish to bring him to his lair. Ronan had never expected to be kidnapped in his long life, especially by another elderly person.

"I would rather be kidnapped by a handsome young man. Like my little red chick!"

Eruhaben frowned and snickered, "Disgusting. Aside from money, who would want something from an old fishy fart?"

This savage dragon is too much! Ronan had enough of Eruhaben's savagery and decided to remain silent now.

When they came, the egg was trembling as if it were scared. Mana was fluctuating everywhere.

"It must be agitated," Ronan commented, touching the shiny egg.

Ronan looked at Eruhaben and smirked, snarking such a comment that would make the golden dragon frown, "It must be because Goldie Gramps is so boring that our little eggling likes Fishy Gramps more!" acting like an asshole gramps is the best! Sucker for attention!

"Come here, baby, and let Fishy Gramps take good care of you!" Ronan laughed as he watched Goldie Boy wither by the side because he was dull.

Keke. This dragon must have thought he would be more popular among his kind. Keke.

The egg stopped trembling and settled into his arms.

Amazing. This egg appears to have known exactly who it wanted to attach itself to. Let this grandpa spoil you, rotten child!

Eruhaben just sighed and let the Old Fish take the egg back to County. Of course, he is constantly chasing after the Old Fish. He cannot allow this senile old fart to become a criminal out of nowhere. Especially when the redhead baby is a sweet little jealous minx.

But..

Being surrounded by children is a skill in its own right.

Throughout Eruhaben's nearly thousand-year history, children cried or fled. Even seeing him would cause children to cry uncontrollably.

But him? The Great Emperor of the Sea? The great sage who is older than the current world tree? The almost divine creature and monster of the deep sea? Beasts of all kinds, including young whales and human children, have gathered around him! He appeared to be setting up a child trafficking ring out of nowhere. Anyone looking at him with that shady smile and cold demeanor would assume he is a kidnapper, as children naturally follow him!

Alver Crossman, one of the boys following Ronan, called out, "Goldie-gramps," and handed him some candy.

He simply accepted it and observed them playing hard at the Castle's fountain. Not even the County could prevent the children from following Ronan.

However, he is simply captivating, especially in how he allows the children to play and tell stories while paying close attention.

"As expected of Grandpa," Whitara, the Whale Princess, said with a sparkle in her eyes. She is more than 200 years old, but the way she follows Ronan like a child and obeys him makes her endearing.

Even the young half-whale followed the old fish like he was a god.

Eruhaben will not be surprised if someone forms a cult around this fish.

"Aiyooh. I thought it was an afternoon for me," Little Cale grumbled, staring at everyone frolicking around his man.

Eruhaben gave him a look. Cale simply sat beside him and accepted the tea that the butler had prepared for him. He did not show any signs of jealousy.
