"The voting has ended."

"Damn, they're still caught up in that game?" Kyung-jun grumbled as they step out together.

"I've got a bad feeling about this, I don't know," Rin confessed, her voice tinged with unease. They stay in a corner, joined by Jin-ha and Seung-bin.

"Heo-yool, the one with the most votes, will be executed."

Suddenly, Heo-yool clutched his head in apparent agony, groaning. Eun-ha dismissed it as attention-seeking, and the group began to jest.

"Are you acting again?" Eun-chan questioned, approaching Heo-yool. "It's not funny. Stop." Heo-yool swatted his hand away, his groans intensifying.

As he continued to scream, he bent down, his head still cradled in his hands. "Hey, what's wrong?" Yeon-woo's voice rang out with genuine concern. Whispers filled the room, and Rin stood at the back with Kyung-jun, Seung-bin, and Jin-ha. Her arms crossed, she patiently waited for Heo-yool to finish his prank so they could all rest.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"He's okay, right?"

Eun-chan approached Heo-yool once more, urging him to stop, "Yool. That's enough, I said."

Slowly, Heo-yool straightened up. Rin's eyes widened in alarm as she noticed his pupils had vanished, leaving his eyes a stark milky white as he stared blankly ahead. "What?" she murmured, instinctively stepping back into Kyung-jun's reassuring presence.

"Shit." The others stepped back, alarmed. Yool dropped to his knees, repeatedly bashing his head on the floor, Rin flinching with each sickening thud.

Gasps filled the room as he continued, blood pooling beneath him. Rin could hardly watch, repulsed by the gruesome sight as he smashed his head into a painting next.

Kyung-jun pulled her back against the wall as Yool suddenly charged forward, crashing through a window. Glass shattered, and Kyung-jun shielded Rin from the debris. She shut her eyes tightly, clutching her boyfriends jacket as she heard a thud.

"Heo-yool was a civilian."

She released her grip on Kyung-jun, her gaze fixed on the shattered window where Yool had fallen.

"What?!"

"What's going on?!"

Before she could comprehend, a soothing lullaby echoed from the speakers, lulling her into a deep sleep. Exhaustion overtook her, and she surrendered to the night's embrace.

Her body ached as if it had been struck by a truck, and a groan slipped from her lips as she felt the cold, unforgiving ground pressing into her back. Her head throbbed with pain as an alarm blared from the speakers, likely intended to rouse them from sleep. Startled awake, she sat up, wincing as every movement sent a wave of agony through her body. But her discomfort paled in comparison to her growing concern as she searched for Kyung-jun, relieved to find him awakening beside her.

"Are you okay?" She asked softly. He nodded, then turned the question back to her, to which she offered a tentative nod in return.
