MgRonalds vs SFC

(For the record I'm skipping episode 8 since at the time of the episode my character would still be in school so it wouldn't make sense for him to be here)

Coda's POV:
School had just ended for the day and I was heading over to the MgRonalds my big brother works at since it was his turn to watch me. My brother and the hero agreed to take turns with me so both can see me that way everyone wins. As I was heading there I saw there was some sort of festival going on and figured it was probably some sort of human tradition. I walk into the MgRonalds noticing it barely had any customers.

Coda: Hey Sadou, I'm here.

I said noticing him being stressed about something.

Sadou: Hey  Coda, sorry it's just not been busy since that SFC opened. Anyways I already had your usual happiness meal made so focus on that for now.

He said as I start eating but was wondering why he was so focused on that newly opened SFC. I get it is stealing customers but I was sure it's only because it's new. After finishing my food I walk over to my brother as he looked like he needed some help.

Coda: You ok? I can offer some help if you want?

Employee: Yeah we can help.

Sadou: Now is not the time to act. At the moment the tides are merely in our favor but worry not those tides will turn again so now we will wait and prepare for our time to shine.

He said as his employees got to work as he pulls me aside.

Sadou: I noticed your scar on your arm, what happened?

Coda: Some guy with magic and a scythe attacked me and Emi the other day and I just got my arm cut is all. Still a little weak so I can't go all out yet.

Sadou: So some asshole damaged you and you waited to tell me this?!

Coda: Oh sure let me just call you on the phone you don't have!

I argued back as Alciel walks in along with Emi, Rika and some girl in a kimono I haven't met before. Alciel explained everything about what went on while he was apparently at SFC. Sadou goes over telling them to order but I could tell from where I was that it wasn't going to end well as I was just watching and chuckling as I helped Chi Ho bring the order over.

Emi: Thanks you two and I'm sorry, you two know how I get around him.

Chi Ho: Don't worry we understand.

Suzanoo: Good Chi Ho, nice to see you again.

Chi Ho: You too hope all is well.

She said as Rika was adoring over how adorable Chi Ho was as the girl in the kimono focused her attention on me.

Suzanoo: I believe we haven't met before.

Coda: I'm Coda and I currently live with Emi as she is my current guardian.

Suzanoo: My name is Suzanoo so it's a pleasure to meet you.

Coda: You as well.

I said as my brother and I got to working. We first tried using fliers but that didn't work what so ever. We then tried advertising the food as my brother literally had me go with Chi Ho to advertise but that terribly failed and people took pictures of us thinking we were "cute".

Chi Ho: It didn't work.

Coda: I never felt so humiliated.

We said sadly as some delivery driver came with supplies where he came up with a genius idea to decorate for the star festival.

Emi: What's going on?

Coda: He's doing a thing for the star festival where you write your wish on a paper and hang it up and if you do it then you get a complimentary small drink. I even planned on writing a wish I want to come true.

Emi: And what's that?

She asks as I shake my head.

Coda: I can't tell you otherwise it won't come true.

As they started getting customers I was told by my brother I was free to go now. As I got home I looked out my bedroom window and was just thinking to myself.

Coda (in mind): Someday everyone, my wish to protect you all will hopefully come true.

*I thought to myself before going to bed.
