Enemies to Lovers (With a Twist)

Confession

"Ok. Uh...... You know what? I'm not going to ask anything else. " I said as we entered in. 'Very well! Even darker! ' I thought as we were taking slow steps in because of not being able to see anything.

" I swear if I find something in here I'm going to break your bones one by one and feed it to the shark in the aquarium. " I said with a sassy but laughable tone.

"Uhm... I don't like the idea of being here actually, how about we go back? " He said with a sense of being scared.

"No taksy-backsies now. So shut up and come in. " I said to him. " Alright fine! Coming. " He said as he entered.

As I was walking, I stumbled upon something..... Soft? I don't know actually. But it was something soft. Perhaps a snake?! Who knows. Just as I felt that soft thing I took a step back and screamed, " What is this?! " And didn't move an inch further than where I was standing.

I couldn't see clearly but I did hear some footsteps ahead of me and I knew it was him. He then said, " Oh my god. You're such a scaredy-cat that you got scared by a blanket that I told you about! Didn't I? "

I then remembered that he did tell me about it but I forgot. "Uh. So what? Does it matter? I'm tired Ok? I wanna sleep now. Now let me sleep. " I said as I sat down trying to trace where the blanket was.

"So um... There is a problem you see. We.. Only have one blanket. So, we have to share it. " He said to me as I got my eyes widened. "What?!! - " I screamed at his face as soon as I heard his words.

"Only one?! " I continued, " Well guess what? I'd rather freeze in the cold than sleep in a single blanket. That too with you! " With anger everywhere.

"Hey! I'm not even that bad! And if you want to survive, you will have to eventually come in and share. " He said as he sat down beside me and put the blanket all over him comfortably and went to sleep.

"Ugh! You know what to do huh!! " I screamed at him as I somehow gained the courage and put the blanket on me. 'This man. I don't want to share! ' I thought as I shuffled a bit to the other side making sure there was a gap between us. No sooner did I fall asleep as well and had a comfortable place for the night at least. Maybe the cave isn't even that bad?

The next Morning......

"Ugh....... Is it morning already? " I said as I woke up just to find out that he wasn't beside me and I had the blanket to myself. 'Finally! ' I thought as I put it all over me.

"But wait. Where is he? " I said to myself as I got up and leaving the blanket there I went to find him. I was already at the opening of the cave and there he was! Standing at the edge.

I went to him and said, " Ok. I think that it's finally time you know about this. I'm so sorry I hid from you for so long. " With a pout on my face.

He said looking at me with great astonishment, " Huh? What are you talking about? "

I took a deep sigh and said, " Jack. I- I love you. "

"Yo-you what? Are you being for real now?! " He said as he looked at me with his eyes widened in shock.
