I was a dwarf planet in the vast galaxy
Put myself out there but just a few could see
Took a chance and got invited to your universe
Made me experience all kinds of firsts
You came like a lost blazing fire of meteorite
Shook my world but treated me right
You pulled me in with your natural gravity
and you took over my world unknowingly
You are a fleeting glimpse of a shooting star
A passing wonder, a moment of stellar
Someone I'll keep in my memories and treasure
Our shared time had ceased but it's still a pleasure
Youre a fiery speed of a falling star
Bumped into me and left a cosmic scar
Now off you go to your next destination
Light years away but my life goes on
I will continue to revolve around the sun
carry my mass, stay floating and
exist until I reach my dimming season
I will be an evolved star after my extinction
As I turn into particles, I'll leave these feelings become a stardust
I'll be reborn with a new life but dying is a must
Then I'll wish for another meteor to land on me soon
Makes me feel alive for eternity not just once in a blue moon
