A month later

"Bitch, I really wish you'd shut up complaining and just put and something " Diamond mumbled thinking I didn't here her but I did and was ready to bust her in her damn head. I just know I'm driving her crazy cause I'm driving my damn self crazy all because I can't find a damn outfit for today.

After long phone calls and weekend visits today was the day the Marcus was being released from jail and a bitch has been sweating bullets all day. Just the thought of what could transpire has my mind everywhere, and my best friend is no help at-fucking-all.

"First off I heard your ugly ass, Second I don't appreciate you talking out your neck at me like that and lastly I called you here to help me not drive me up the wall." I snapped at her talking off the third maxi dress I've tried on. I don't want to be to revealing for a man a hardly know but then again I don't want to to think I'm some old nun or something ugh!

"Look my bad, but you need Jesus on your side today I just became unavailable suddenly, I love you but u need to take a deep breath and relax. I'm leaving call me and tell me how everything turns out. See ya later babe!" She shouts walking all the way out of my apartment.

Just great!

After long hours debating I finally found an outfit, a simple dark blue skater dress and a pair of silver sandals. It might have been a but much for just a house guess but when I'm nervous I always go over the top. Just when I finished curling the last piece of my hair there was a knock at my door.

"Mommy open door, I pee !" I heard Lex shouting. I opened the door to see her squirming, my mom and dad also kissy face, lovey dove and shit. Sometimes I wish I could have a love as strong and beautiful as theirs. The way they look and speak about each is what I long to have one day, but as everyone keeps telling me, "it will happen when the times right no need to rush things.

"I pee, I pee!" Lex screaming breaking me out of my depressing thoughts. Moving to let them in she ran lil self into my bathroom.
"Well hello to you too Alexis " I mumbled to myself while chuckling. That little girl is a damn character. I haven't seen my baby girl all week due to her being at parents house. I missed her but looks like duty calls .

"Hey baby girl " both my mom and dad said at the same time. They were just so damn happy and acting all strange.

"Hi,what got y'all so happy-go-lucky and all ? " I questioned with a raises brow. They just ignored me and went back to touching and groping and kissing and what not. They were cute together but they were also my parents so the shit was a bit sickening. So I walked back into the kitchen to check on dinner . Tonight were are having :

Lemon pepper chicken breast .
Green beans .
Mac and cheese.
And some bomb ass cup cakes from my aunts bakery for dessert.

"Mommy me missed you !" I heard before I saw my lil angel (sometimes) come in the kitchen and hug my legs tightly.

"Me misses you too Lexi," I mocked in her little baby voice." You have fun with Nana and PawPaw?"I asked picking her up and walking out the kitchen into the living room where my dad was watching sports and my mom was probably somewhere meddling in my things and plopped down on the couch.

"Yes! Mommy, me and Nana have dress up and eat cake !Went to park and I play with puppy." She explained with so much enthusiasm.

"Well I'm glad you had fun." I smiled at her .

"Mommy,daddy coming here?" She asked looking up from where she was playing with my nails as she sat in my lap. I had told her before she left that I had a surprise for her,she practically begged my to tell her and when she gave me the puppy ayes and to whine I finally broke and told her her father was coming and happy wasn't the word to describe her.
