"... Why didn't you tell us sooner Dani ?" Diamond question the anger clear in her tone.
"Exactly, I would of had your back girl" Anaya added sounding equally anoyed by my miscommunication.
" I didn't tell you guys because of how your acting now. It's handled and I've been over his no good ass." And that was the truth and they knew this so I don't understand the problem ugh! I guess they got tired of me ignoring them because when i looked at my phone,ready to hang up, they weren't on the line. I love my girls dearly, but they can be a pain in my damn neck. I sighed heavily then climbed out of bed that I've been in all morning.
I headed towards Lexi's pink door and peeked into her room. Only to see my baby with a pout on her face clutching onto a black barbie doll and staring at the blank tv screen. I walked fully into the room and sat next to her on the floor.
"What's wrong sweetie " I can honestly say this little girl has me wrapped around her little fingers. Instead of answering me she just crawled into my lap laying her head on my chest. I can only begin to imagine what she's been throught at the age of three. We sat there for a while not saying anything. Then she spoke.
"Mommy me miss him" she said in a low and sad voice.
"Who baby?"
"Daddy"

Tonight I decided to cook dinner for myself and Lexi. While looking in the fridge for the chicken, Diamond barged into my house and headed straight to my pantry.
"Umm excuse you! " I yelled at her .
"What?" She truly looked clueless, like she didn't do anything wrong. Lord bless this child. I just shooked my head and let her get away with it,this time.
"Ooo what's your name? Who is this Dani? When did you have a child? Did you have a baby and didn't tell me? I outta beat your ass. Wait you didn't look pregnant last week. Girl you got your shape back quick. So who is th-" I just has to cut her off of her ridiculous rant and shook my head at her hard.
"Diamond why are you here?" I rudely questioned.
"Girl I had to get out of that house before I raped my husband" She said with a serious face. I couldn't stop laughing even if I tried. I couldn't imagine being dick deprived and I don't won't to.
"You need help"
"No, I need my husband " She said while exiting the kitchen and I went back to cooking.
Ten minutes later I was done preparing dinner and setting the plates. Once we finished dinner Diamond finally left and I stared to clean the kitchen,while Lexi watched t.v in my room.
"Lexi!"
"Yesh mommy?"
"So I have some good news for you" I started drying off my hands and turning to look at her."So I found out where your daddy is" I came right out with it, and I'm glad i did. She strated to jump and scream which only made me smile harder.
"Mommy I go see daddy?" She questioned once she calmed down, her smile never leaving her face.
"Not yet baby, but soon I promise" She gave me a giant hug along with a kiss on the cheek and ran out the kitchen leaving me in my thoughts.
God I hope I'm doing the right thing.
