Chapter :9

~Marcus~

"Daddy?" She spoke opening her eyes adjusting to the lights. Being able to hear her voice after so long cause me to tear up a little, real shit.

"It's me baby girl" As much as I tried, the more I looked at my mini me the more the tears began to build up and I just let them roll down my cheeks not giving a damn who saw. She jumped out of Daniella's arms so quick and into mine it was scary.

"I missed you daddy!"

"I missed you more Lex, more than you could understand"

Visitation was only an hour and I spent the whole time catching up with my daughter and also getting to know Daniella better. I just know the with her being in Daniella's care that she is safe and is well taken care of .I'm just glad that someone was there for her.

From the short time together I could tell Daniella was a good woman. She was smart, caring, and not to mention the finest thing I've seen in a while. She looked to be about five foot even, smooth golden brown skin, thick lips, and long hair that I could tell was real. She had the body to match as well. She was indeed fine as hell.

Even though she gorgeous the only female I'm worried about at the moment is my little baby girl.

Man I can't wait to get the hell out of here!

  "Well it was nice finally meeting you and getting to know you Marcus" Daniella concluded as she got ready to leave .

"Yeah same to you, and thank you again for everything you've done. A lot of people wouldn't have gave Alexis a second glance. I appreciate you ma." That might have been the thousandth time I've thanked her in the last twenty minutes, but I honestly couldn't help it. I couldn't even imagine what would of happened to Lex if someone else was to find her .

"No need to thank me, I've grown to love her like my own and I will continue to do so .You can call the house anytime you want and I'll bring her here whenever you want as well." She told me.

"Daddy I don't want to go,when u coming home?" Lex began to pout and cling onto me tighter. And just when I thought this was going to be and easy visit.

  "You can't stay Lex this is a bad place for bad people, I want you to go home with Daniella and be a good girl okay?"

"Okay daddy" she said as she wrapped her tiny arms around my neck and squeezed me as tight as she could. I couldn't stop the tear that escaped my eyes even if I tried, "I love you daddy."

"I love you more."

As I went back to my cell, once they finally left I just sat there and replayed my life .I refuse to quit, not went I'm so much closer to being back in her life. Now that I know my daughter is safe it gives me hope and motivation to keep on so I can get out of here. I'm no weak nigga but being on lock down 24/7 is stressful as hell and on top of that,prior to this day I had no idea how my child doing. Shit like that really weights you down and makes you question everything. That night I went to sleep with Lex on my mind and vowed to myself to never ever step foot in this place ever again as long as I live.
