𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 killing the man who brutally murdered her father, Abby Anderson, and the team that she brought to Wyoming return to their base in Seattle where they return to their normal lives, going back going through standard protocol daily such as checking supplies and scavenging for whatever they can find within regulated areas to build up their community... assuming there's anything worth taking, that is. As much as Matthew knows he may seem like a slacker for admitting to it, he prefers the more mundane side of things since that means not only is life good, but order and peace prevail yet another day.
He just wished that Abby wasn't so hung up on things, Owen most of all, so she can enjoy life as he does. Unfortunately, her eyes have always been preoccupied with looking back on the past surrounding her ex-boyfriend and never in front of her, focusing on Matthew. He hated it. He's been keeping his distance for years, knowing his place and keeping his nose out of Abby's love life and just going on with his rather boring life.
But this all changes when the war going on between the Washington Liberation Front and the Seraphites, a primitivist cult, becomes more long-winded and tense as they continue to fight over control of Seattle. Unbeknownst to WLF, however, everyone involved with the death of Joel Miller is being tracked down one by one by a small group from Jackson-Dina, Jesse, Tommy Miller, and the most prominent and dangerous figure of them all: Ellie Williams.

⸻ 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 for entertainment. Before I start this book, I know that Abby isn't the most... popular when it comes to the fandom's outlook on her which brings me to my first point: if you're here to just hate on the character instead of reading my book, please leave. I wanted to make a book to insert my OCs in this game's universe, not deal with people's bad outlook on Abby being constantly thrown at me at any given opportunity. The same goes for Mel too since I have plans of my own for her character.
Finally, as I mentioned, I have original characters and that's why I'm making this book in the first place. I have a handful, some minor and some not but I'm going to try and keep the storyline surrounding these OCs of mine (Matthew, Corbyn, and a few others) and add a few original parts of the storyline to either change things a bit or make it more concise since I don't like how the Last of Us games immediately give us a time skip after any major event! That is all.
