Will stayed behind in the shelf, as he waited for Mike to let him know whether or not it was safe. Mike checked around in the pitch black, the only light was coming from the windows, the dark blue sky providing just enough light to see shapes. Mike confirmed there was no one left, so he went over back to Will. He offered his cold hand to help up Will. Will's soft skin held firm on Mike's tough hand, as he got up quickly, following Mike over to the employees only room.

Mike took out his tiny flashlight that was just somehow in his pocket, and clicked it on. It wasn't very helpful, but it was better than nothing. He shined it around, until he shined it on the white, all capitalized letters on the gray door. "EMPLOYEES ONLY."

"Here, Will, hold this," Mike said, giving the flashlight to Will. "Shine it at the knob. I'm about to lock pick this shit." Mike starting digging in his pockets, looking for something.

"Aw, fuck, I forgot my pick," Mike whisper shouted. "Will, check your pockets." Will checked around in his pocket, until his fingers brushed against something thin. He picked it out.

"Paperclip work?" Will asked, holding it out to Mike.

"Yeah it's fine, it might take a little longer, though." Mike said, taking it. Will held the flashlight, illuminating the metal, silver door knob. He watched Mike's hand maneuver the paper clip inside the keyhole with careful precision.

In about five minutes, the door clicked, and it was open. Will and Mike headed inside, as Mike took the flashlight and shined it around.

There were a few leather chairs, some tables with useless things like stacks of paper and staplers, until finally, there was a table with the "goods" as Mike would say.

"Holy shit, Will, look at the coupons on this table!" Mike exclaimed. "Will, shove 'em all into your pockets. We need to utilize as much pocket space that we have."

Of course, Will didn't think this was right, but still, it was pretty cool to be in here. He listened to Mike without any complaint, and shoved all the coupons he could find in his pocket. Things like 50% off, 60% off, and even 80% off... it was quite rare to see so many of them on one table.

"Yo, Will! Look at this baby... a folding pocket knife! Sharp too. Just barely brushed my finger over it and I'm bleeding. The serrated blade has my heart," Mike said. "This thing has gotta be at least 100 dollars. I'm snatching up that pretty little thing." Mike said, casually slipping it into his pocket.

Will blushed as if Mike were talking about Will, and not a knife. Will knew Mike had the potential to love a person as much as he did a knife too. Will always thought about how cute it was when Mike rambled, or spoke about his special interests. One of Will's favorite hobbies was to listen to Mike ramble for hours, and understand every detail from it.

Will knew how much that "pretty little thing" meant to Mike, so why not take it?

He grabbed it out of Mike's pocket.

"Hey, what? I mean, it's fine if you wanna take a look at it, but be careful, okay. If that thing drops, it's gone."

"I'm gonna keep it." Will said, tightening his grip on it.

"Haha, okay little buddy." Mike snickered, continuing to search the table.

"I'm serious," Will said, staring into the back of Mike's head.

Mike turned around to look at Will with a piercing stare.

"Will," Mike said in a lowered voice. "Give. It. Back."

"No."

In a flash, Mike lunged at Will, sending them both toppling to the ground. The flashlight CLANG! straight to the ground, rolling away slowly. Now their light was gone.

It took Will and Mike to realize what was happening. Mike was positioned right on top of Will, Will's back pressed against the hard, cold, cement floor. Mike pinned both of Will's wrists in one hand, using his other hand to keep his balance.

Their breathing ringed in the silent, dark room. Mike couldn't see, but Will's face was definitely comparable to a tomato.

Mike tried to slip the knife out of Will's hands, but Will held on tightly.

"Will. Stop it."

"I'll give it to you on one condition." Will smirked, although Mike couldn't see.

"What?" Mike said, irritated.

"That you say please."
