The Troll flails his arms about as Malka uses her athletic prowess to easily dodge his slow inaccurate attacks. Jericho looks over the strange metal casket, he takes the padlock in his left hand. As he does, the yellow mark on his hand begins to glow brighter than ever as the strange symbols on the lock turn, lining up with each other and causing the lock to fall open. The chains collapse and fall to the ground. Jericho tries to pull the door open, but one handed he is unable to do so. The troll grabs Malka's leg, but she uses his own momentum against him, swinging herself around and making him stumble off balance. Malka yells down to Jericho. "How is it coming down there!?" He yells back. "The chains are off, but the door is stuck!" The troll grabs Malka around the waist and raises her up, again using her athleticism she rolls up and over him landing behind him. She kicks the back of his leg making him drop to one knee. Malka remembers that the troll wouldn't get into the water, so she gambles on a hunch. Using her hips to slam into him, she knocks him into the pool of strange water. The Troll shrieks as he seems to disintegrate in the water. Malka and Jericho look at each other. "Well, I'm glad it didn't have that effect on us...tehee!" says Malka. "Why didn't it?" Asks Jericho. Malka hops down into the path of separated water with Jericho. "Look, I'm just gonna say that we are built differently! That's why it didn't burn us up." Jericho has a look of doubt on his face. "Now, let me help and maybe we can get those pages out of here." Malka says as she grabs the casket door and pulls. The two of them grunt as the door starts to slowly slide open. Malka begins talking to the undoubtedly skeletal remains of whoever was buried with these pages. "I'm so sorry to you, whoever we are disturbing to get these..." the door opens, only to reveal the Angel Jericho has seen in his dreams inside. "Oh, God..." Jericho says with a feeling of despair washing over him and his heart sinking into his stomach. Malka looks on in shock. "Is that... an Angel?" Malka says quietly. "Wait! Wait! She is alive! Look! She's breathing!" Jericho stammers. "Do... Do you know her?" Malka asks. Jericho, with a warm overjoyed tone in his voice replies. "YES! Well, kinda...I don't really know! But we have to get her out of here! She has been calling to me in my dreams." Malka's eyes open wide. "Okay, Okay, but I want full details once we get out of here!" Malka reaches in and hoists the unconscious Angel up. "Be careful! Watch her Halo!" Jericho says frantically. Malka places the angel onto her back to piggyback her out. "Jericho, Sweetheart, calm down. I've got this part. You check the casket for those pages we were looking for." Jericho looks, but there is nothing else in the casket. "There's nothing." He says. Malka shrugs. "Oh well, let's get out of this pool, I don't like being surrounded by this... acid or whatever it is." They climb the stairs leading out of the pool as the water crashes down behind them. They hear a door kick open across the room, and through it comes Axle, Cassilda, and Constance. "You two are ok!" Axle shouts in delight. Malka and Jericho quickly fill them in on what has happened, urging them not to touch the water. Cassilda looks at the Angel. "Wha... So the light only lead to this girl? Where is it directing us now?" Jericho looks at his hand and realizes it is no longer glowing. "It's not glowing. She must've been what it was guiding us to." Cassilda holsters her pistols. "How is that even possible? Unless... the Angel herself was sending out the signals?" A loud rumbling can be heard from the other side of the room, echoing from the door the troll came through. The sound of many Darkling rushing their way. "We can talk about this later, I think we best blow this place!" Axle says urging them to leave. "Agreed! Let's get back to Goblinshire, we can figure out our next move from there." Says Constance. As they make their way for the exit, without giving it any thought Jericho takes the angel's hand. Her eyes barely open, and she says: "Dragon...?" so quiet he could barely hear her. Her eyes close again, as they reach the main entrance...
