Sasha runs down to open the energy shield, allowing Iggy, Spike and Totaco to enter into the safety of the old cathedral. "Tha...Th...Thanks..." Iggy says, trying to catch his breath. "Yeah, thanks." Spike also says. Totaco nods. "Yes, your assistance is much appreciated!" Sasha and Minky point their Zappers at them. "State your names." Sasha says with a stern tone. Iggy stutters an introduction and explains the events that have led them to this point. "Then our commanding officer left us for dead! It was then and there that we decided to leave Caligari and defect to your kingdom, if you think the Queen would have us." They hear the authoritative voice of the Queen coming from the stairwell. "We shall see. I need more information if you wish to defect to BlueMoon from Caligari." Iggy, Spike and Totaco drop into a bow on the floor. "Oh! Queen Apalala! Please, we beg that you accept us into your team, we know and are friends with several of your Trouble Consultants, we are even friends with your Daughter, Princess Cinnamon!" Spike whispers. "You usually call her a brat..." Iggy elbows him in the stomach. Apalala's eyes widened. "Wait, how do you know Cinnamon?" Iggy and Spike tell the Queen of the many, many missions that they have... "assisted" Cinnamon and Snickers on as Trouble Consultants. Apalala is shocked, she had no idea that Cinnamon was a Trouble Consultant, let alone the top consultant in BlueMoon. She angrily glares at Sasha, Minky and Hildi for keeping this a secret from her. She looks at Maggie who puts her hands up and says. "Don't look at me!? This is news to me too!" Hildi explains that Cinnamon made them swear to keep it a secret, and that they respected her wishes to not add any more stress onto the Queen. Apalala is speechless, not just from her surprise, but because she now feels even worse. The reality that her reckless, irresponsible daughter has grown up and matured. Minky says. "Your Highness, the Princess didn't want us to tell you because she was afraid you wouldn't allow it. That you wouldn't think of her as capable enough to make a difference." Sasha says. "She needed the excitement, she has never liked to be still." Apalala can feel her eyes tearing up as she feels angry with herself. It isn't always easy to see the growth your kids go through when life has so many distractions. Maggie comfortingly pats Apalala's leg (that's as high as she can reach). But this is no time for regret, as the entire chapel shakes from the impact of the massive decayed flash creature outside. They all rush to the top floor and look out over the cemetery as the flesh creature bashes into the chapel again. "What is that!?" Maggie asks. "I don't know... he came out of a mass grave over yonder. He ate several of the other ReAnimates, and has just been slinking around ever since." Said Dasher. The flesh monster looks up seeing them all looking over the balcony, He coughs to clear his throat.
"I am... Corpus Christi, an amalgamation of old rotten bodies. Of these corpses I am chief, I have 16,000 teeth... Cling to your guns, your weapons, and your knives, If you hope to have a chance of leaving here with your lives..."
Iggy and Spike look grossed out by the sight of this creature who is still singing.
"Do you truly believe you will leave here alive? You are out of your element, but here is where I thrive... Get to your car and maybe away you can drive to the mountain peak, But if you run, if you flee, will you accomplish the goal in which you seek?"
