Chapter 08: Chosen One In Healing.

While Trinity was with her daughter, she escorted her back to the lab, where Emit patched her up from her previous fight in the Matrix against the Merovingian. The damage was body filled as she laid back down on the bed.

"Why bring me back here?" Natalie asked. "I can help." "Not while you're in the condition of a head injured patient," Trinity answered, and placed her hand on her daughter. "I'm only letting you stay out of harms way, because I care about you. We might not have meet, until in the city, and we might not know that much about each other yet."

"Just get to the point," Emit commented. "The point is, we need to look after each other no matter what flaws we have," Trinity explained as she placed her hand on her daughters wrist as she was sitting there. "We are family that have been reunited for our first time, and as your mother I will do anything I can to make sure you are safe." "I hope you're right, but I still want to help," Natalie said. "I have been in much worse situations that this injury to my head."

"You know your head wouldn't hurt that much, if you would just lay off the mind magic like Morpheus informed you to," Emit said. "But someone decided to have a headache in the middle of battle." "I don't know how it happened though?" Natalie asked. "I've been able to fly, and such, but I didn't think there was a way to avoid the pain of what's been going on in my head while I was using my powers." "It's probably just stress," Trinity answered. "Wait here, and I'll go get you a cup of milk."

As Trinity left the lab, Vito waited for her to enter the kitchen, so he could talk alone with Natalie who was still in bed. "So, you think that woman is your mother yet?" Vito asked. "I still don't know," Natalie answered. "We might have the same hair color, but the question is how I ended up at Nicole's location." "Emit, and I will check it out," Vito explained. "Not sure how long it'll take when we have a guy called the Key-Maker to find, who is the only one who can help us search for the Architect, but we'll make a quick stop before we talk with the Key-Maker just to be safe. I'm sure it'll only take about 10 minutes."
