Chapter 10: Mother, Daughter Time.

While Vito left for Mega City with Emit, Trinity returned to the lab where she saw her daughter get up from the bed she was laying down in for a couple of minutes. Like most parents, Trinity was very concerned about it.

"Where do you think you're going, young lady?" Trinity asked, having Natalie turn to face her, while still trying to leave the lab. "It was starting to get hot in this room, so I figured that I would be more comfortable in my own room," Natalie answered. "Well why didn't you say so, earlier?" Trinity asked. "Come on, I'll help with the escort."

Following her mother wasn't too hard for her to do as the only injury that was conflicted to Natalie was her head, and that wasn't keeping her from walking. However, some people still manage to leave stuff on the floor, despite their age. What Natalie wasn't going to expect was more brain damage while she was following her mother to her own bedroom. "Do you need me to carry you the rest of the way?" Trinity asked. "I know the hallway floor might be messy."

"I'm pretty sure I can handle walking the rest of the way," Natalie answered while refusing. "My head might hurt, but-", then Natalie felt the pain in her head again, causing her to crouch. "Nonsense," Trinity said, and picked her daughter's body up, while at the same time carried her all the way to her room, until they arrived at the door that had Natalie's name on it, then went inside, until she carefully placed her daughter on the bed. Trinity even grabbed a blanket, covering her daughter up.

"Is this necessary, Mrs. Trinity?" Natalie asked. "Ah cute, you know my first name," Trinity answered. "I wondered how that went by." "Well, I overheard Morpheus say it, before ending back up in the lab," Natalie said. "First, just call me, Mom," Trinity explained. "It's a little awkward, and upsetting if you didn't. Second, the cover is necessary. You need to rest after the enormous battle you had on the rooftop of that building I found you on, and need to rest from all of it while you're in that bed. Now if you just wait there, I'll head to the kitchen, and get you something to eat. You must be hungry right now."
