Punishment.
Would it be the same as it was for Andrew and them?
I was sat in the office currently infront of their desks. They have a big ass house and can't afford separate offices?
"Haydee i have already been informed about your little act out this morning." Joseph spoke in a warning tone. Uh oh!
"I didn't start it." I stated because I was not going to have it all blamed on me, no way! My punishment would be way worse.
"I don't care who started it. It is not acceptable to throw orange juice at any of your brothers." he informed me as if I give a fuck. He was literally going on about how I shouldn't be here.
I rolled my eyes and he sighed "let's go over the rules now." ew why now?!
"Rule 1 - you must respect your brothers and me but respect does go both ways.
Rule 2 - no boys or boyfriends
Rule 3 - no illegal activities
Rule 4 - you must inform us of your whereabouts at all times and you can't leave without telling one of us or having one of us with you.
Rule 5 - you have you get your grades up Haydee, I'll let you off seen as it says you've only been in school for a year? Why's that?" These rules are bullshit."Yh I did it all online because..I used to be really scared to go so mum thought it was a good idea to just let me do it all from school." I lie smoothly I'm so good at lying you wouldn't even believe it!
"Okay.
Rule 6 - if you need anything come to me or your brothers
Rule 7 - no swearing
and the last rule bedtime is at 10:30 on school days and whenever on weekends. You'll be starting school in one week with the twins. Anything to say about the rules?"Yes!
"Obviously. Rule 1 you literally said respect goes both ways but you're mad at me for this morning. Rule 2 what if I wanted a girlfriend? Can I be friends with girls?" Cedric choked a little at my question.
"Same goes for girls if you want a girlfriend petite fille." that's what i thought.
(Translation : babygirl)"Are you attracted to girls though?" Cedric asked warily but I shook my head no. Men are scary but hot..sometimes.
"Rule 4 am i not entitled to privacy?" I said raising my eyebrow. I wasn't going to sleep at 10:30 either but they don't need to know but the rest were okay I guess.
"You are bebe but this is for your own safety and as for your first remark, I understand what Lucien did was wrong but you can't do that" is he serious.
"Well I'm sorry Joseph, I thought respect did go both ways and I wasn't going to just sit there and let your son disrespect me like that!" he tensed at my use of his name.
"He will be punished Haydee so no need to worry." I was tired of this already so I decided to simply get up and try to leave.
"We still haven't gotten to your punishment." leave me aloneeee. I rolled my eyes not caring anymore. Haven't even been here for two days and I'm already sick of this place.
As soon as I opened the door my brothers all came piling down. How dare they listen to my conversation! Fattys.
Lucien wasn't here though of course.
I glared at them and went to go find my room. As I was walking to my room, Lucien left his and he walked past me nudging my shoulder.
He no longer smelt like orange. Haha.
"Prick" I mumbled walking into my room and locking the door.
A little while later, Joseph came knocking on my door. I opened it regretting how I acted earlier.
I hope they doesn't make my punishment worse.
"Haydee citrouille, I understand you're frustrated at living in a new environment but you will have to get used to it because we are not letting you leave any time soon okay?" He said inviting himself into my room.
I nodded making sure to not meet his eye. "Now punishment, you're grounded and I'm taking your phone for a week." huh?
"That's it?" I asked not being about to hide my shock. That's all? No beating? No getting locked in the Celler with no food for a week?
He nodded trying to keep an angry look. I can read people like an open book, he's not really mad!
"Idonthaveaphone" I muttered quickly saving myself the embarrassment. No way would I have ever been allowed a phone.
"What was that? Speak slower ma chérie." He spoke gently dropping the previous tone.
(Translation : sweetie)
"I said I don't have a phone." I said clearer this time. I wish I had a phone though. I could have saved my boredom so many times.
"Oh." he stood dumbfounded not knowing what else to say.
"Well, when we get you one..I'm taking it for a week?" He was more of asking himself? Weirdo.
"Sure." I mumbled carefully putting bunny under the duvet hoping he didn't see her.
"Why don't you come down and spend some time with your brothers and me?" He suggested but did I have a choice to say no? I said okay before leaving the room before him.
"I am proud of you for sticking up for yourself but next time please use words instead of wasting orange juice." he urged sighing. He sighs a lot doesn't he?
We walked down the stairs and into the living room I suppose. I let Joseph lead the way since I would definitely be going the wrong way.
They were watching tv so I plopped myself on an empty seat beside Gabriel.
You haven't even been here two days and they already hate you. I mean I don't blame them!
That silly thing in my head started again. Leave me alone bro.
Just saying ! Wont be long before you get sent back to Andrew.
They wouldn't do that would they?
Or even worse..they'll sell you to them.
No.
"Dee you okay?" Gabby said from next to me. The nickname is only for my brain. He doesn't need to know I remember what I called him.
"Mhm"
"So you really don't remember us?" Elliot said with a hurt expression. Of course I remember ! But I always know you didn't want me so there's no point remembering.
"Nope" I said crossing my legs on the sofa. Now all my brothers' attention was on me. Do they mind? These things make me nervous.
I started playing with my hands in my lap without looking up so hopefully they get the hint and stop looking.
"Irrelevant memories anyways." Lucien scoffed turning the tv volume up.
The intro came on and the show was called prison break. That sounds very interesting.
"I do remember how ugly you were though." I smiled throwing a pillow at him which he threw back but it landed on the floor. Loser.
I was offered some popcorn which I politely took and continued watching with them.
