Suddenly, in the peaceful forest where Kris and Chen sat peacefully every day, a loud crack pierced the air, shattering the tranquility they had known for so long. Startled, Chen immediately sprang to his feet and sprinted towards the source of the disturbance. Kris, filled with concern, followed closely behind, their hearts racing with panic. As they ventured deeper into the forest, dark skies loomed above as a pack of wolves sprinted through the undergrowth. Chen's fear intensified, but his determination to find his mother propelled him forward, undeterred by the danger that surrounded them. "Chen, get out of here now!" a voice called out. Thunder had joined the pursuit, realizing the precarious situation they were in. But Chen could not bear the thought of leaving his mother behind and shouted back with unwavering determination, "I can't! I need to save mother!" With Kris supporting him, Chen continued his frenzied run through the dense woods. Their hearts pounded in their chests as the wolves closed in on them, their menacing presence growing with each passing moment. Suddenly, Thunder paused and spoke softly, his breath heavy with exhaustion. "He has your energy," Hourglass mentioned, trying to catch his breath. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Thunder nodded with grave concern and made his way towards the pack's compound. Inside the compound, the seven born legends of their pack gathered around the sacred Tree of Life, its roots embedded deep within the earth. The atmosphere crackled with tension as they prepared to face the imminent danger that threatened their existence. Just then, a red wolf emerged from the shadows. "Hello, puppies," she sneered mockingly. Thunder's eyes blazed with fury as he gazed at the rising red moon, knowing the peril that awaited them. "You monster!" Thunder's roar echoed through the compound as he lunged forward and seized the red wolf between his jaws. His voice trembled with rage as he fiercely proclaimed, "You will not take their lives!" The red wolf, seemingly unfazed, calmly responded, "It will happen someday, maybe not to your child but perhaps your siblings." Thunder's anger surged, and he unleashed a vicious slash across her neck before leaping away, narrowly avoiding an arrow aimed at him. "Temptation!" Thunder bellowed, signaling for the assistance of Telekinex. However, the arrow meant for Thunder found its mark in Telekinex's shoulder. "Father!" Luhan cried out in anguish, witnessing the pain inflicted upon his beloved comrade. Meanwhile, Chen, still reeling from the chaos around him, frantically searched for a way to help. Ideas whirled in his mind until a realization struck him with sudden clarity. He looked at his small but mighty claws, noticing the lightning bolt symbol etched on his side, just like his father's. Determined to make a difference, Chen approached a red wolf, his heart heavy with trepidation. "Chen, don't you dare think about that!" Thunder's voice reverberated with urgency, pleading for his son's safety. But Chen, consumed by a mix of fear and bravery, did not heed his father's warning. "Hello, Chen. You look cute," the red wolf taunted, her nose drawing near to his face. Without a moment's hesitation, Chen lunged forward, slashing her nose with his puppy claws. "See what I can do now?!" Chen's voice resounded with defiance. Thunder's heart sank, realizing that Chen still did not grasp the magnitude of his actions. "Son, that's not how it works!" he yelled desperately, but Chen remained resolute in his misguided belief. Just the a red wolf who had loomed threateningly a moment ago, bore down upon Thunder at an alarming speed. Chen, driven by a fierce love for his father, swiftly intercepted the assault, placing himself between Thunder and the oncoming danger. The red wolf's claws slashed across Chen's face, leaving him crumpled and bleeding on the ground. "Chen!" Thunder's cry of anguish echoed through the forest as he rushed to his son's side, tears mingling with the blood that stained Chen's face. The pain Thunder felt in that moment was immeasurable.
