While waiting for the guests to come, Emma noticed something. "Mother, have you seen Manjiro?" She asked. Her mother looked around while humming, "No, where did you last see him?" Her eyes filled up with concern.

"The last time I saw him was when he was walking behind Takemichi," Her mother nodded, then looked at me. "Dear, have you perhaps seen Manjiro?" I thought for a moment, oh yeah! He was walking right behind me when a guard stopped him and they started talking.

"Yes, I did, I can go find him if you wish." I offered. She smiled and nodded, "Hurry though, we don't have much time," I nodded.

I went up the stairs to the same hallway we were in, and there was Manjiro, ugh. Did he seriously forget we were supposed to have guests over? Or did he just not care?

The only reason I volunteered to find him is so I could talk some sense into him. His mother would scold him too lightly, and I've seen him ignore Emma telling him to clean up.

Of course, Emma couldn't do anything. She was mostly likely trying to teach him to clean up for himself and that it wasn't a woman's job, but the maids would side with him.

I saw him talking to a male whose black hair was up in a ponytail. They were both laughing, I kindly walked over to them with an innocent smile.

"Manjiro-sama, your mother needs you," Once he looked at me, he rolled his eyes. Then he said "Yeah," Before sighing. This guy has some nerve.

I smiled kindly to the black-haired man before following Manjiro downstairs. "We have guests, you know," I said while going down the stairs. "I know," he huffed out.

"Then why would you leave," I asked as politely as I could. "Because I don't care," Oh my God! This guy... "Listen, I don't want to do this either but at least I'm not making a bad impression!" He stopped mid-way down the stairs and looked at me as if I were annoying.

"What are you looking at?" I crossed my arms. He then rolled his eyes and continued walking down. "Thought you'd be more feminine," he said at the end of the stairs.

Then he greeted his mother as if nothing!

As I walked up next to the queen, my heart stopped when I saw my parents. It started beating again when I saw my sisters, brother-in-law, and niece. And of course, my aunts and uncles.

I could tell my older sister had been crying. And my mom had that smirk like she won, my dad looked like he didn't care. My little sister had those eyes, her eyes said something like, "I'm sorry,"

My niece was the only one smiling out of joy. My family shook everyone's hand, and then my niece and sisters came up to me. My niece ran up to me, wanting me to carry her.

"Auntie!" Aika said eyes full of mischief. She was into makeup, so whenever we spent time together I liked doing her makeup.

"Hi, sweetheart," I smiled softly. Aika's pretty black curls were let down, her hair up to her shoulders. She wore a small pretty dress, she was a very pretty 1-year-old.

Her eyes then brightened as she thought of something. "Auntie! I heard you found true love!" Well, that's a- nice? Way to think about it...

Aoi nodded as if telling me to go along with it. But, I don't want to lie to her, and at the same time, I don't want to make her sad. It would hurt, she's only 1 year old and she'll forget it.

Aika waited for me to respond, "I have," I smiled softly. "Which one is he?" Himari asked. "He's the one with blonde hair and dark blue eyes," Himari looked around.

"That's Manjiro Sano? Woah sis you are lucky," Aika looked around too, "Auntie you're getting married to him!?" I nodded.

"Right, let's sit down, the chefs prepared a nice dinner," Aika's eyes brightened. Aoi picked her up.

I sat across or Manjiro, my family sat on my side of the table while Manjiro's family sat on his side. Emma sat across from Aoi and Aika, Aika waved at her with a bright smile and Emma smiled back.

"Pretty," Aika mumbled. Then the queen cleared her breath and everyone looked at her. "As you can see, we prepared a nice dinner. I hope everyone enjoys it," My mother smiled sweetly, I swear I had never seen her smile as brightly as she did. What a joke.

She only smiles when her daughter is suffering in an arranged marriage.

Well, I'm not suffering, but she doesn't know that. I'm sure I'll be treated better here anyway.

One thing though, there was this mid-age lady staring staggers at me. She was sitting right by Shinichiro and Emma, Emma looked uncomfortable around her. Like she wanted to run away type.

Shinichiro looked understanding and glared at her with calming eyes. Lucky for them, the lady wasn't staring daggers into them, unlike me. Knowing someone was watching me eat and paying close attention to how I ate was quite unsettling.

Once she seemed to judge enough, she took her first bite. That decision made me feel at ease. While listening to my mom talk to my future mother-in-law, I felt the lady stare daggers.

I guess Manjiro noticed how unsettled I felt because he nudged Emma with his arm and glanced at the lady and then at me. I pretended to not notice. Emma then nudged Shinichiro who quietly whispered to the lady.

The lady finally stopped glaring at me. Thank God, I owe Manjiro.

A/N: I'm sorry this wasn't a lot, but I'll try to bring more drama in the next chapter. Sadly I've been busy with school and a huge project is coming up on March which means I won't be able to update much. Thank you for reading!♡
