(I'm so sorry for the extremely late updates. I really do appreciate all the people who have read this book, never thought anyone would nor did I think I would get 22.8k on it! You all are truly amazing. This was a fun journey and now it has come to a conclusion<3 ily guys!)
"Denkiiiiiii! Hii sweetheart!" Mina says out of the blue as she hugs me from behind.
"Mina-" I start but she intrupts by playing with my hair. This has been going on since I left the hospital. I swear to god she's mothering me. The others mentioned to me that she didn't even act this mother-like when I was young meaning she's totally doing this on purpose.
"Let me see your wrists little guyyyyy" she says grabbing my arm and yanking my sleeve down almost causing me to fall and collapse out of my chair.
"Yayyyy no wound-ies on Den-ki!" I want to slap her- holy shit I'm gonna go into my Gillian era.
My thoughts are intruded by kirishima walking in the room like all might (flexing, laughing and even saying "I am here!") and convincing her to leave me alone because of some random ass excuse I didn't hear. My savior, god I owe him big time now.
I mean...I don't blame Mina. Aizawas and the other teachers lectured all of us about mental health a few months after I left the hospital and used me as an example which was awkward as hell. Now Mina uses her purposeful baby-ing as a way to continually check my wrists and such like that.... In a way it's kind of comforting knowing that everyone here cares.
I look over at my classmates who are all enjoying this relaxing day off and I feel so very happy. Them knowing about my issues brings a huge weight of my chest. They do check in way to much for my liking though, but I don't mind much.
"Hey Kaminari. Can you go down to the grocery store and maybe pick me up a few potatoes? It's my turn for dinner and I didn't know we were out" asks me.
I could use some outside time I guess so I nod and take off....
Things are looking up for me! I'm so happy I could...
....
Denki bumped into someone and their quirk activated turning him into a child again..... back to square one-
