Part five - memory lane

Tim was in shock and realized it was true. He was going to answer when Lucy's phone rang. She picked up not realizing it was him. Lucy:" Lucy Chen here what can I help with?" Chris:"Hey babe I need your help with something." Lucy started to freak out and put the phone on speaker. She mouthed to Tim that he had to call Angela and he did.

He put her on speaker and Lucy talked back to Chris. Lucy:" hey what can I help with is something wrong." Chris:"Well since you sent me to prison I need you to get me out of here. And you know what will happen if you don't. I have befriended someone that will help me if you don't get me out of here today."

Lucy:"I'm sorry i didn't mean to. I will get you out as soon as I can. And I will take the consequence. Any reason you need to get out so fast." Chris:"That's non of your business. Your consequences will be big tonight. Get down here as fast as possible and don't tell a soul, or it will be worse." Lucy:"Ok I will leave now."

They hung up and she starts to break down. Tim still had Angela on speaker phone so she heard everything. Ang:"ok what the hell was that? What's with these consequences?" Tim hugged Lucy as he answered.

Tim:"well that was Chris. The boss I talked about who got arrested was Chris. The crew is gonna be sent down to kill Lucy if they don't get him out of there today. And the consequences I still need to figure out." Ang:"Ok that's bad. I will call Vegas police and have them get the crew right now. I will also call Grey and have him get officers to watch Chris at all times. We will be leaving to go back as soon as the crew is arrested, but I think you 2 should stay here until Chris is locked down hard. Bye"

they hung up and Tim and Lucy was still hugging. Tim kissed Lucy on top of her head and Lucy looked up at him. "What if they get you or Tamara what am I supposed to do then. I can't lose you." Lucy said.

Tim:"well Vegas police is arresting the crew right now. Angela is calling Grey to get officers to watch Chris. Ang and Aaron are going back home but we will stay here. And you will not lose me. From this day on you are stuck with me. And until you feel safe enough again I will never leave your side. I will not let go of your hand once when you leave this room until you feel safe again."

Angela called him again. Ang:"ok Tim don't have me on speaker now and please don't kill me. We will be at your hotel room in about 5 minutes with officers." Tim:"what why? I thought you were going home." Lucy looked confused on why Tim didn't have the phone on speaker after last time.

Ang:"well I called Grey to tell him and he went to go check on Chris. But Chris is gone, I don't know how but he is gone so we have Tamara in Grey's office with police officers around her and Nyla with her at all times. That's why we are coming to you 2. Lucy is on a full lockdown. You are not but she is. So breaf her of protocol but try to keep her calm." Angela just hung up since she was at the hotel soon. Lucy looked at Tim confused. Tim didn't know how to tell her but tried. Tim:"So Angela and Aaron are coming over. I am supposed to breaf you of protocol but I don't know if I can."

Lucy:"Tim what is happening? What protocol?" Tim:"don't panic but Chris is out. We don't know how but yeah. You are in full lockdown here and Tamara is at the station with Nyla. Even if you are at lockdown I will not leave your side once. And If it makes you feel safer we don't have to hide from Angela." Tim looked worried at Lucy afraid of how she would react. Lucy:"well that's something, I will try not to panic of this. But yeah I will feel safer staying in your arms." Tim smiled at her.

Tim:"yeah but we need you to put some pants on they will be here in about a minute with a lot of people who is being stationed outside." Lucy put her pants back on when there was a knock on the door. Lucy stood up to go open when Tim stood up to. Tim:"hey you can walk, the meds must kick in. And I will open the door." Lucy:"yeah I guess. But we can open the door together so if we die we die together." Tim took Lucy's hand and went to the door. She stood halfway behind him holding his arm and hand.

They opened the door and there stood Angela and Aaron. Ang:"hey you can stand again that's good." Lucy:"Yea I guess so but I don't feel that good." Tim looked down at her with a worried face. Tim:"wait you didn't tell me that do you need to throw up or is it ok?" Lucy looked back up at him. Lucy:"I think I'm fine just stress. But I'm getting a little dizzy so can we go sit down." Aaron and Angela looked at each other and went inside.

Angela informed them of what was going to happen and they sat down. Aaron:"So Tim did it work or did you have to try something else?" Lucy looked confused at them both. Lucy:"tried what. Is something wrong?" Tim:"no nothings wrong. Aaron helped me when you were having a panic attack earlier, or I guess you helped yourself but yea. He remembered that you had told him what helped you so that saved you."

Ang:"yeah Lucy that was a bad one. Do you remember what triggered it?" Lucy:"emm well emm I guess ehh it was what was said on the phone." Lucy fidgeted with her fingers trying to hold back the panic attack. Angela noticed and tried to get in contact with Tim without Lucy getting pulled out of the zone. (Lucy and Tim were sat on one side of the couch and Angela and Aaron on the other facing each other.) Ang:"Tim I think something is wrong." Angela pointed to Lucy who was sat on the edge of the couch nearly falling off. She was fully in a zone to stop the panic attack. Tim looked over and pulled her closer to him who was sat in the corner.

Lucy snapped out and looked at Tim and broke down. Tim:"oh ok it's gonna be ok. Come here and breathe for me." Tim pulled Lucy into him and she burred her head in his chest knowing it was other people there. Lucy:"them...leave...just..you" she whispered to Tim in between sobs. Tim:"ok. ehm Ang do you two mind just going outside for 5 or 10 minutes. Take the card so you get back in." Angela just nodded and they stood outside.

Tim:"baby it's ok. You will be ok." Lucy:"is it ok if I fall asleep?" Tim:"yeah of course it is come here." Lucy laid down between Tim's legs with her head on his chest. She fell asleep and Angela and Aaron came back in. Aaron:"we are back is she ok?" He said loud walking over to the couch. Lucy tuned by the sound and tim wrapped his arms around her to let her know it was ok. Tim:"shhh she's sleeping so let her." Aaron:"sorry sir but is she ok?" Angela rolled her eyes at Aaron Clearly knowing Lucy was asleep and Tim stressed out.

Ang:"go sit down before talking anymore. Can't you see that Lucy is really tired and needs the sleep and Tim is stressed. So go sit down." She said it so Tim didn't hear her. Tim:" well she is really tired and stressed out. I think she finally is relaxed because she wasn't the calm the last time she fell asleep. So that means no loud noises, no sudden movements and no saying the name. Understand?"

Aaron and Angela both nodded. Aaron:"whose name do you mean? Do you mean Chris?" Lucy's eyes shot open and she sat up. Lucy:"Is he here? Has he done anything? Has he taken Tamara?" Tim:" no nothing has happened just lay back down and go back to sleep everything will be ok. And I will be right here." Lucy laid back down and fell asleep. Angela hit Aaron in his arm and Tim gave him a dirty look.

Ang:"was that really necessary Aaron? You have a brain right?" Aaron:"I didn't know. You didn't tell me." Tim:"well we did right before you said the name, so I think you can shut up so me and Angela can talk." He raised his voice a little and Lucy noticed. She wiggled a little so her head was at his shoulder instead of his chest, and she whispered. "Can you hold me please?" Tim didn't answer as she was fast asleep again and just wrapped his arms around her and held her close.

Angela noticed and looked at them in awe. Tim:"what are you looking at?" Ang:"nothing at all." she giggled a little. Tim:"well what are we supposed to do now while we wait?" Ang:"well you can go home if you wa-" Tim interrupted her. Tim:"no I am staying right here until she is safe. Right now I'm the only person she trust so I am gonna stay that person and stay here. I was the first person she told, and she was the first one I told. She knows I will always tell the truth even how hard it is."

Aaron sat there speechless as he had never heard Tim being that protective over someone. Ang:"Ok no need to get angry. I said if you WANT, I didn't say GO home. So you will stay in this room at all times and me and Aaron will be around you. We have a list of the names of everyone who is on patrol to know who to call. The whole LAPD is out looking for him, and grey will call us for any updates. And the whole crew is in custody."

Angela finished and Aaron noticed Lucy was having a nightmare. Aaron:"Sir I don't think she is ok." Tim looked down to see Lucy sleeping but in pain and scared. Tim:"Lucy you are safe ok. I will help you calm down but I need you to wake up first." He said calmly stroking her arms. Lucy shoot up. She sat there confused with tears in her eyes, desperately calling out for Tim. Lucy:"Tim? Where is Tim? Is he d-" Tim quickly interrupted her.
