Chapter 10

"Standing in my way..." Arlong grinned at Zoro, "looks like you want to die first, Roronoa Zoro."

Zoro gripped his swords, "No way I'll die." He said in between heavy breaths, he then went to swing his sword, "I'll break your proud nose!"

He swung the sword and Arlong didn't even move, the sword didn't even budge when it collided with his sharp nose.

Arlong laughed, "you fool... it's a proud nose because it's unbreakable."

"If you were at your full strength, you might've been able to give it a scratch." He grinned, "how unfortunate you're not as strong as your crewmate over there." He gestured to Maki.

Arlong thrusted his nose straight at Zoro, Zoro did his best to block it. However his body was too weak to hold Arlong back for long, as while Zoro was distracted Arlong lunged his nose straight for Zoro, making direct contact.

Arlong gripped him by the neck, blood was running down his chest, "What's with these bandages?" He asked choking out Zoro, "Did you fall somewhere?" He asked ripping off the bandages from Zoro's chest, causing him to scream out in pain.

Arlong's eyes widened as he saw the wound, "what's with this scar?" Everyone grimaced from the sight, a result of Zoro's duel with the warlord, Dracula Mihawk.

As blood dripped down from Zoro's shoes, Arlong wondered, "How can he still be alive with a body like this? How can he still be standing?"

Zoro moved his head slightly to look Arlong dead in the eye. His look was one of a vicious wounded animal, Arlong recognized the look, the same one Maki gave him as he crushed his ribcage. The look of a monster.

"Him and that kid... they're men... I need to kill for sure!" He tossed the ripped bandages aside, holding his hand up, "right here, right now!"

Just as Arlong was about to make his move, he heard a familiar rubber boys voice.

"Wahhhhh! I'm back!" He shouted as he shot across the air, being launched from the sea.

The villagers and the others shouted his name in glee. Nami smiled brightly staring at him as he propelled to the sky.

"Luffy!"

"That damn rubber man..." Arlong glared.

"You're late idiot..." Zoro mumbled.

Maki felt himself relax a little, he didn't feel as worried now that not only he confirmed Luffy was alive, but...

"There's no way he'll lose..." Maki thought to himself.

Luffy grinned, and stretched his arms grabbing onto Zoro. "Let's trade places!" He used Zoro to fling himself towards Arlong.

"You idiot!" Everyone screamed at him.

Maki sighed. "Nevermind. We're screwed."

"Gum-Gum..." Luffy lifted his neck, causing his to stretch and shoot up. "Bell!" He head butted Arlong right in the nose.

When he dropped he quickly spun his body, lifting his foot, "and whip!" He landed a kick on the side of Arlong's stomach. He then balanced himself. Sending his fist out towards the sea he had flown out of.

"Gum-gum... Pistol!" He punched Arlong directly in the abdomen. Then launched a barrage of punches to Arlong's stomach. Sending him into the wall of Arlong park.

Everyone was too stunned to speak. But as Arlong removed the debris off himself he sat up, "Did you do something?"

"It's not working!" Yosaku and Johnny cried, holding onto each other.
