Dinner Date

TUESDAY
10:20 AM

"Hey Bex! What are you doing?" Lainey asks looking at the girl on the screen.
"Hi Rey! Do you wanna hang out?"
"Today?"
"Yeah!"
"Of corse I would. Could you give your mom the phone?"
"Here mommy."
"Hey Lane."
"Hey Chey!"
"Well we were wonderin if you wanted to hang out today? We can go get lunch or something, I think the boys are getting in the practice pen and we can watch them, you can get on."
"Yea I would love too! Lemme talk to Willie and I'll call you back."
"Alright bye Lainey!"
"Talk soon."

"Willieee!" The girl yells as she walks into his room and lays on his bed.
"Laineyyy." He says from his desk.
"Cheyenne invited me out for lunch with her and Bexley. She said she thinks the boys are buck some later, soo I was gonna go get lunch then we could go over. Or i could drop you off over there."
"I was just about to get on the game. You enjoy your time, you haven't seen them in a while."
"Ok Im gonna go get ready."

"Hey Stat." Lainey says propping her phone up on her dresser, letting her camera focus onto her.
"Lanee, hey."
"Sorry Ive been callin you so much but I was wonderin if y'all were buckin today, like anytime after noon?"
"Yea, Dad wanted to see us get on. I don't think he'd mind if you or Willie got on."
"It's just me today, Willies gonna stay home. But I'll be over there after lunch."
"Alright, well what you doin right now?" Statler asks the girl as she begins to grab clothes.
"Wellll, Bexley invited me to lunch. Oh! I wonder if Lily would come, I doubt they'll mind! Is she doing anything today?"
"I don't think so. Text mom."
"I am."

Lainey texts both ShaRee and Cheyenne, making sure neither of them cared if Lily came.

"Ok I'll be over there in a little bit."
"Alright, you wanna stay on the phone?"
"Of course, gotta get your opinion on my fit."
"Right, lets start with a shirt."
The girl grabs some shirts, Statler choosing an old high school softball shirt and a pair of light wash 7's, along with her checkered Vans.
"Dang you can put together an outfit."
"You say that every time."
"I know, and I'll keep sayin it cause it surprises me every time."
"Whatever lemme see my amazing work."
Lainey steps into the camera's view after changing, doin a spin so the boy could see her outfit.
"Alright I need to do my hair and makeup."
While she finishes getting ready the two stay on the phone, catching up (even though they just saw eachother.
"Ok Stat, Im gonna get off here, I'll see you in a little, love youuuu."
"Love youu."
Delainey first texts ShaRee and Lily letting them know that shes on her way, then Cheyenne telling her shes getting Lily then heading to the restaurant.
"Im heading out Will! Ill text you later!"
"Alright! What time will you be home?"
"Uhh I have no idea, I dont know what's in the fridge. See ya later!"
"Bye!"

Lainey knocks on the Wrights door, Stetson flinging it open.
"Oh! Hey Lane, what are you doing here?"
"Im picking your sister up, do you know where sh- Lily! Hey! You ready to go?"
"Yea!"
"Go head out to the truck real fast for me. Do you know where your mom is Stetson?"
"Ya just uh in the living room." The girl walks right past the stuttering boy.
"Hey ShaRee, Ive got Lily just wanted to pop in!"
"Ok! Hope you guys have fun."
"We'll be back soon, I was gonna stay to watch the boys buck."
"Ok! Ill have one of them text you if you're not here yet!" ShaRee says pulling the girl into a hug. "Statlers in his room if you wanna run up there." She whispers
Lainey instantly starts running up the stairs to his room.
"Statler Ray!"
"Hi Lainey! Your already here? Oh yeah Lil!"
"Yep pickin her up, just wanted to say hey, anyways bye!" The girl says hugging him quickly then running back down the stairs.
"Bye! Love ya!" He yells.
"Ok bye you guys, we'll be back later! Love you guys!"

"Sorry, went and said hi to Statler." Lane explains to Lily as she climbs into her truck.
"You're ok. Where are we going?"
"Some Chinese place, Chey said they've went once and it was really good. Could you get on my phone and text Cheyenne, just say "I picked Lily up on our way now, should be there around 12:45""

"Rey! Lily!"
"Hi Bexley!" Lily says running up to Bexley.
"Hey Chey!"
The four make small talk before getting up and getting their lunch over at the buffet.
"Are you just gonna eat noodles Bex?" Lainey asks the small blonde sitting next to her.
"Yep! I loveee noodles."
"Yea theyre pretty good." Lainey says, trying to hold in her laughter.

"Hey Rey!" Bexley says, "What?"
"Are you dating anyone?!"
"No honey,Im not."
"Not even Stat? Or Stetson!?" She asks, looking completely shocked.
"Nope, ain't datin no one. Are youu?" She asks teasingly.
"Ew no! Boys have cooties."
"Thats my girl!" Cheyenne says high fiving Bexley.
"Well when you do start datin boys, tell me, if they do anything ill be sure to have a talk with 'em."
"Dont worry Rey Rey, I dont wanna be datin anyone." Before Lainey, or anyone, can say anything she starts again, "Can I tell you a secret Rey?"
"Of course!"
The little girl stands up out of her chair, Lainey leaning down to her level, she whispers in her ear, "I think Willies kinda cute."
"Really!"
The young blonde starts blushing and nodding her head.
"Well I wont tell him!"
"Do you think he's cute?"
"He's not bad, but I'll leave Will all to you Bex, don't you worry."

After finishing their lunch they go and get ice cream, then heading to the Wrights house to buck.

"Are you gonna get on a bull Lane?"
"Yeah probably, but I'll mainly just help pull ropes yknow?"
"What did Bexley tell you?"
"I cant tell you! It's our little secret!"
"But-!"
"No buts, let's go buck some!" Lainey says as they pull into ShaRee and Codys long drive way.

wasn't sure how to end this 😭 what do yall want? next update will be an insta post, we get some Lainey and Stetson action, along with Lane and Stat.
