Rodeo Time

"We're back!" Lily yells as they walk into the house, Cheyanne and Bexley behind them.

"In the kitchen!" ShaRee yells, the group of girls
walk through the house into the kitchen, seeing her preparing a large amount of food the three older girls all ask if she needs help.
"Lily, Lane how about you two take Bexley out. The boys are getting ready to start loading the horses up. I think Cody even got a couple bulls for Stetson and you."
"Ohh Cody Wright bring bulls into his bucking pens? Who woulda thought." The three make their way over to Lainey truck and begin their short drive over to the pens.
"You guys made it! Are you gonna get on one Lane?" Statler asks as she opens the gate and walks into the pens.
"I dont know should I? I dont have any of my gear or anything and I dont have my brac-"
"Hey you don't have too, but just remember who won that buckle." Cody says tapping her gold buckle that sits on her belt and walking away.
"Ill think about it, but I can pull ropes if you need me too?"
"Yea of course, I think a couple more guys comin on over, only been on a handful so you can help em a little." Statler suggests.
"You gonna ride tonight?"
"May get on a few."
"Cmonnnn, how about this Ill get on a bronc if you get on a bull?"
"Oh for sure! Ill do anything to see you on a buckin horse."
"Shut up."

"Are you gonna get on Lane?" Cody asks the young girl.
"Well I told stat that I'd get on a buckin horse of he got on a bull."
"Well we got one loaded right now if you wanna go ahead."
"Yea give me a minute."
The girl climbed over the fence and handed her phone to Lily.
"I need you to record this alright?"
"Ok!"
"What you doin Rey?" Bexley asks.
"Im gonna get on a horse, the ones your daddy rides."
"Oh. Be careful!"
"I will."
Lainey gets back over to the chutes, grabbing some gear that they had laying around. And putting one leg over the chute and sitting there while she keeps a hand on her right hip.
"You ready?"
"I guess, its now or never." She looks around and finds Stetsons eyes already on her, he looks worried but she knows he wont say anything, and even if he does he knows theres no stopping her now.
The two stare at each other for about 5 seconds before Cody comes up to her and pats her on the back.
"You got this kid."
She takes a deep breath and lowers her self onto the saddle.
Tying her hand in and pulling at the rope, Delainey take a deep breath then nods.
The chute opens and shes out. Lainey leans back and try's to remember everything Dale and Cody and all of the brothers talked about, all the strategies.
It feels as if nothing works and shes almost instantly bucked off, failing to the ground and landing on her hip, or more specifically her bad hip
The pain shoots up her whole leg almost causing her to go limp, but thats not what causes her to go limp. No, it's the horse, all of her 1,200 pounds graze on the young girls knee. Thats what causes her to fall back. It may sound like shes being dramatic but with an already hurt hip even running causes pain. Another shot of pain shoot down her leg.
Lainey uses all of her power to atleast makes it close to the fence, hopefully out of the horses way.
She cant hear anything but the ringing in her ears, and Stetsons voice. She could almost always make out his voice. Next thing shes knows hes the first one standing over her, gently picking her up and carrying her out the arena.
"Im fine really, theres no need for you t-"
"Shut the hell up. You're very clearly hurt."
"Whatever. Where are you taking me?"
"Do you ever shut up?"
"When my ex boyfriend is carrying me around no I don't."
"The hospital."
"No no no, im perfectly fine. Just need a little ice and ill be ok."
"Ok. Stand, by yourself." Stetson says as he stops walking and starts to put her down.
"Ok ok. Just hurry up and get me to the hospital would ya?"
"Still got your attitude I see."
"And you still have your sass."
Stetson walks the two over too his truck but before he can begin driving Statler comes running to the passenger door.
"Hey hey where you goin?"
"Hospital." The two say at the same, they turn to look at eachother and roll their eyes.
"Okk, well tell me what they say."
"I will. You better not get on that bull without me here."
"Yea yea, Ill get on one tomorrow if you come down of course." He says nodding down at her hip.
"Trust me, ill be down here no matter what the doctors, or your brother says."
"I know ya will."

"So hows you and that guy you were talking to?"
"Good, we're gonna hang out when I get back home."
"You're really gonna hang out with a guy you dont know."
"Yea so what? Haven't you slept with almost every girl in Utah? Oh sorry forgot "you're not like that anymore""
"It's dangerous Lane, he could i don't know murder you?!"
"I honestly doubt it, plus we're going in a big group."

The two walk into the hospital, Stetson carrying pretty much all of her weight as she leans on him and the two take slow, small steps up to the front desk.
"Oh! Can I get you a wheelchair?"
"Yes!"
"No!"
The two shout at the same time.
Stetson nods and the woman quickly runs off to go find a wheelchair.
"I don't need one. I'll just ice it and be light on it and I'll be fine by Monday. Dale, Leroy, and Mom will never know."
"I think you're gonna need more than just some ice. It's practically busting the seams of your jeans."
"Ugh these are my favorite jeans and theyre gonna have to cut them."
"Don't you have like 20 pairs?"
"Yea but these ones make me butt look big."
Stetson turns to look but she light smacks his cheek.
"Yea they do. I'll buy you another pair."
The girls cheeks turn red but before she can make a smart remark the lady comes back with a wheelchair.
"Ok what can I help you with."
"Well i was ridin a bronc and-"
"Her knee was already hurtin."
The girl elbowed him for cutting her off.
"Yea it was a little sore but nothing bad and i got bucked off and landed on my hip, then she jumped and just barely grazed my knee."

After almost three hours the doctors determined that she had almost dislocated her hip. If she had landed another way she would of had to have a surgery. Luckily its just very badly bruised and very swollen. The doctor recommended icing, stretching, they wanted her to walk on it as long as she had her brace on.
"What did i tell ya, just need to ice it."
"Whatever, you're welcome for bringing you here."
"Well I obviously didn't need to, lost my favorite pair of jeans just for them to tell me something i already knew. Buttt, you now owe me a pair of jeans."

GUYS I FINALLY WROTE!!!!! WE LOVE STET AND LAINEY. THE NEXT CHAP WILL PROB HAVE A INSTA EDIT.
