After my parents found out that I was gay from Sally, I moved out and stayed with Tails and his parents for a while until the end of the school year. . .

Sonic's P.O.V.
It had been a rough few days of suspension for me after my father kicked me out of the house, I didn't look well off to everyone and Sally had been trying to talk fo me for a while; "Sonic please listen to me im very sorry" She shouted a bit, I took a deep breath cause if I started shouting It would start something. . My eye caught Shadow as he walked away, I sighed and continued walking and put on my headphones while heading to my first class. Nothing felt right, not without Shadow. . I would always go to the library on our breaks inbetween classes to see if he was in the library, but he wasn't there or he left before I made it in. I would see him in the hallways with Rouge but he wouldn't look my way at all. . . I would still study but by myself so I can try to pass on my own. A couple days passed and I was going to get my last little bit of things from my mom, I was living with Tails and his family now who gladly took me in for who I was. . And told them what happened.

Flashback

"I WILL NOT HAVE A GAY SON FOR A DISAPPOINT, GET OUT!" My dad yelled while throwing out my things. . He broke the precious things I cherished but he said he bought them when he didn't but I just stood there radio silent as he yelled. Manic tried to step in but I immediately shook my head, I didn't want him to get inbetween; "And don't ever expect me to pay for your school or even come to your graduation!". . . I looked at him as I clenched my fist. "Oh, so im getting the Sonia treatment because Im not straight? Cause I didn't feel the same way for Sally?! You only like her because you're working for her stupid parents and getting a sum of money for it dad, but you kick Sonia out than me because we have different preferences for who we love! Well fuck you!!! I love Shadow because unlike you he actually sees the real me and because of the date and what I said it all got ruined. I kept my grades up just for you but now I don't care!! You're not dragging me or Manic down anymore!" I shouted, I grabbed my stuff that was in suitcases and walked away fast before he could grab me. I teared up while walking, I was never supported by him anyways so why am I so hurt. . ? While walking a hand grabbed my shoulder which caused me to jump, I turned around to see my Mom. . . I didn't say anything and just wiped my face, she grabbed my hand and gave me an envelope that felt fat; "I hope this will be all you need honey. . . Call Tails's mom, she already knows about the situation. I know I can't make up for not doing anything about your dad and I have a long term to go before I get forgiveness from you or Sonia but I will try, I love you okay? And nothing will stop me from seeing your accomplishments" She said as she kissed my head, before she walked off I gave her a soft hug. . I cried a bit in her arms like any son would as she rubbed my head, I let go and grabbed my phone, calling Tails as my mom walked back.

End of Flashback

I got the last box from my mom, luckily my dad had business to attend to so he would be back very late. "Thanks mom, how's Manic doing?" I asked as I looked at her, her face expression changed to an upset one; "He hasn't been going out lately. . . He misses his siblings a lot. Sonia did come over but your dad came early and she left immediately" She looked down as I looked at her, I put the box in the back seat before hugging her softly. "I knew you were afraid, so I don't blame you for not stepping in, Sonia doesn't either. ." my mom hugged me back before I left to go back to Tails's house. As I walked in, I saw Tails's mom cooking and his dad reading a newspaper until he looked up and saw me. "Hey champ, dinner is almost done and Tails should be in the garage. Are those the last of your things? Let me take it up" His dad came over and before I could decline he took the box and went up to Tails's room to put it away. I smiled a bit then went to the garage to find Tails and he heard me come in and turned to me, immediately coming to my side and puts his hand on my shoulder; "Sonic, you're back!. . Did anything. . .?" He asked as he looked up at me, I smiled and shook my head which got him to sigh in relief, I sat down on a crate while Tails was working on his project for class. "Im glad you're alright, well physically. . But mentally" Tails looked back at me as my head was down while I played with my hands. . . "I messed up Tails. . My dad. . Sally telling them about me being gay. . . . Shadow. ." I teared up while saying his name but I pulled myself together and fixed my face, Tails stopped what he was doing and got on one knee, putting his hands on my shoulders.
