Khushi woke up to see that the room was still unoccupied as it was last night, sighing to herself she moved towards the washroom to freshen up before starting her day as a new member of the family. She looked at herself in the bathroom mirror and felt a pang in her heart, she looked more like a zombie with red eyes and pale face rather than a newly wedded wife and her thoughts raced back to yesterday's night.

----------------------------------------------

Once she took Parth's name Arnav was speechless for the next few minutes, simply looking at her with an unclear expression, when he still sat there doing nothing not speaking a word, she stretched her hand towards him calling his name bringing him out of the world which he was in but what she didn't expect in return was Arnav's demeanour.

Until that moment he was cradling her in his arms kissing her but his hold on her body has turned to more like a vice grip before he pushed her towards the headboard and left the room adjusting his dress. Khushi tried to follow him once she adjusted her clothing but all she could do was to stretch her hand to hold him back before he exited the room, closing the door behind him. This led to her hand getting struck in between the doors and she yelped with pain.

Though it successfully stopped Arnav from leaving the room it only led to more pain for Khushi. Arnav has brought a first aid box out and attended to her wound. He even felt the waves of attraction towards her when he touched her again but it did not last for more than a few seconds. Once he tended to her wound the only words he spoke were " Unlike someone I don't like hurting people so... " and he left the room, leaving Khushi in tears.

She couldn't fathom how everything changed in a matter of few seconds and she felt the need to rush back to her home. But this is her home from now on and she tried to accept the reality, tried to look at it from Arnav's perspective, may be he was shocked, he doesn't know the complete story and may be it was not the right time to discuss, there could be n no of reasons for his behaviour she would try to communicate with him and bridge this gap, with that resolve she slept while the tears still rolled out of her eyes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arnav was nowhere to be seen as her eyes searched for him while walking to the pooja room. She could see the other family members joining for the ritual and she stepped forward when her mother-in-law called out to her.

Arnav has not shown up until it was time for the breakfast, once he arrived at the dinning table all he did was wish his family a good morning never glancing at Khushi and royally ignoring her presence in the same space. Seeing Arnav going back to the room his mother insisted on him having breakfast along with the family as it was Khushi's first cooking at the home, he excused himself with an upset stomach but Latha Raizada wouldn't hear the end of it, at last he has to succumb to his mother's warnings.

Khushi served his plate and seated herself beside Arnav. one look at his face she understood he was still in a foul mood, convincing herself that she needs to give him time, she should not dampen her spirits with small issues she smiled towards him and started eating her food. But Arnav had other plans up his sleeves, seeing that everyone were busy eating he bent towards his wife and whispered so that only she can hear.

" Is this how you flatter/attract a person? By cooking?" he stopped saying anything further when he saw a flash of hurt in her eyes.

Khushi tried hard to bite back on the tears which were threatening to fall. She understood he was upset with her but what does he mean by such words? she is not trying to flatter or attract anyone here, taking Devimayya's name she tried to concentrate on her food but couldn't eat more than a few morsels, her hunger dying out on her.

Latha Raizada has declared that the couple should rest for sometime as they have a reception held in the home for evening. Khushi though wanted to avoid going to the room seeing Arnav's behaviour at the dinning table, she made her way towards the room wanting to end the issue between them before evening.

Arnav was working on his laptop when he saw Khushi entering the room, he simply glanced at her once and continued with his work. Khushi sat on the bed for a few minutes silently waiting for him to initiate a talk but other than the sound of the laptop keys there was no word from Arnav.

"Arnav, I want to speak to you" may be she should take the first step to sort it out, wasn't it because of her this has started.

"What is it?" his voice reflected the anger towards her, disinterest towards the topic.

"It..It's, What I wanted to say is that, Parth...." ignoring the gut feeling of negative outcome, after hearing his voice she continued, this has to be sorted out.

"Seriously Khushi? You like to speak about him that much? I mean are you innocent or are you acting like one right now? Even though you don't mind speaking about your love life, don't you think it's important for you to consider if the other person is interested in the same topic or not? " the moment Arnav heard Khushi's words he kicked the chair he was sitting on and stomped over to Khushi, leaning over her, shouting at her.

"But ..." Khushi, though startled by his close presence and his furious avatar, tried her best to continue the talk.

"ENOUGH, I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY, DO YOU GET IT?" with that he left the room making his point clear and Khushi once again was left with a fresh wave of tears.
