"Bloom? Blooming? Bloomsbury?"

I stirred.

Why was Ari bothering me now when I needed the sleep more.

I just had the most scariest dream of my life, and I need to get as much sleep as ever.

I felt something poke me on my arm.

I opened my eyes and sat up ready to listen another long round of speech about Ari and Xander when I realized that this wasn't my room.

Infact this wasn't the cabin at all.

"Glad you're finally awake" I heard a voice say.

I looked up only to find a lady standing beside a guy who looked like....

"Dean?"

"Glad you remembered me" said dean smiling at me.

Dean was and perhaps is still my best friend. He and I couldn't shift back in camp and now he was here with me.

Perhaps to save me.

"Hey, I'm Coral and it's nice to finally meet the 'infamous' bloom"

I looked up to see a pretty face smiling down at me.

I smiled back and then turned my attention back to Dean who sat with me on the bed.

"I'll go straight to the point. Bloom, I love you and I want to make you mine"

My eyes went as wide as saucers.

"What?"

"Yes bloom I love you and I'm going to make you mine"

"But I already have a mate"

"That doesn't love you"

"Dean, I thought you said she was mateless" Coral asked her voice dripping with concern.

"She is. Her mate doesn't want her but I do. She doesn't deserve a selfish power hungry alpha as her mate. She needs me."

"You can't mark an unrejected female wolf. She could die"

Die??!!!!

"She won't especially when I mark her in the next threee months"

"The full moon?!"

"Yes"

"You do know the consequences of..."

"Yes, Coral. Bloom and I will get through it together like how we got through it when we were still in camp but this time we do it as mates" said Dean before entwining our fingers together.

Tears ran down my cheeks as realization suddenly sunk in.

I didn't want Dean to be my mate. I wanted him as a friend not my mate.

"Don't do this" I said pleading.

I was weak as a wolf and I know the 'consequences' that comes with marking an unrejected female wolf which are; I die or Melody dies or we both die.

"You won't die, bloom. I promise to always keep you safe. I love you bloom and so does my wolf" Dean said before kissing me on the lips.

No Sparks.

Just plain.

He pulled away, brushed my hair backwards and then finally stood up.

"Be good and please don't try to escape" said Dean before leaving.

Coral smiled sympathetically at me before leaving.

Tears streamed down my face.

Why was this happening to me?

First dad wanted me to marry Devin who I hated then I met my mate, Xerox who hates me and now Dean wants me.

Every single story about mates I've heard since I was a child made having mates seem like it was child's play.

I wish Mom was here.

And Ari.

Perhaps harmony as well.

I wish all my dreams would come true.

I cried myself to sleep and that night, I had a more detailed dream which consisted of Xerox and I having sex on the beach.
