I fill my cart up with things for my pantry, fridge, freezer and everything else I need pretty fast. Now, I just have to figure out what to have for dinner tonight. I can't really cook without the equipment I need, so I walk back over to the frozen section. I look around, but end up looking at the pizzas. I do love a good pizza. "Don't go for the ones on the left, they have ground beef on them" a deep and familiar voice tells me. I turn around, and let out a silent sigh. "You hate ground beef" Ransom adds, just looking at me with those pearly eyes of his. I slowly nod, and grab a pepperoni pizza from the right side of the frozen section. "What are you doing in the city? Don't you live in the suburbs?" I ask, putting it down in my full cart. "Aren't you the cooking-type?" he shoots back at me, raising his eyebrows. I sigh, and shake my head. "New apartment, gotta buy kitchen equipment tomorrow" I reply, to which he nods his head slowly. "Right, right. Is the place empty?" he asks again, grabbing a pizza for himself as well. The same one as me.

"There's furniture. I just need the basics, like towels and stuff like that" I explain, pointing at my cart slightly. "Seems like it. People who don't know you just moved in somewhere might think you've got a massive party going on, which I am not invited to" he adds. "Don't worry, you'd never be invited". He gave me a look, rolled his eyes but smiled in the process. "You didn't answer my question. Don't you live in the suburbs?" I ask once more, slowly starting to push my cart towards the vegetables. "I do, I just drove past this place on my way home and needed dinner. Unlike you, I'm not the cooking-type" he tells, shaking his head while he holds his basket and walks with me. "I didn't think you were" I mumble, causing Ransom to chuckle. "You're gonna go shopping for plates and mugs and all that tomorrow, then?" he asks while I grab some cucumber. I nod in reply, and put it in my cart. I put one in his basket as well, he needs to eat his veggies too. "I just happen to need some stuff of my own. I'm going to that big furniture store near Luca's, join me. I'll drive" he suddenly suggests.

I immediately look at him, and slightly frown. "We'll grab coffee and breakfast on the way. Text me the address, I'll be there at 9" he finishes, before walking away from me. I just stand here, watching Ransom walk over to the checkout to pay for his own groceries. I'm not sure how to feel, it's like a thousand different types of feelings are in my body right now. I shake my head to myself, take a deep breath and make my way to the checkout as well, where a kind man helps me pack it all up and put it in my car. I thank him kindly, drive back to the apartment building and thank the lord for putting an elevator in here. It doesn't take me too long to put everything in the right place, I can sit down and relax pretty fast. Thinking of how the day went, I can't keep my mind off the fact that Ransom basically told me I'm going to the store with him tomorrow. I don't know what happened there, why would he want me to join him? The further away from me Ransom is, the happier he gets. He told me that enough times for me to know it's true. So why take me to the store?

I don't think I've ever even really been alone with him. We were in the storage closet this morning at Luca and Sarah's, but that's basically it for all I can remember. I just don't understand why he told me he's picking me up. I want to call Sarah very badly, tell her what happened and all, but I know I shouldn't right now. She's in her happy bubble with her fiance, something I'd love to have as well some day. But, my mind is now a mess. No matter what I do, I keep thinking about Ransom. Having dinner? Ransom. Brushing my teeth? Ransom. Changing? Ransom. Laying in bed? Ransom. Closing my eyes? Ransom. His sparkling eyes, his dark hair, his thick veiny arms, his big hands, his broad shoulders and chest... It all comes to mind in flashes. I don't know why, I don't know how, but I do know I have to distract myself from it. To do so, I turn on the TV in the bedroom instead of getting some early sleep. Until, of course, I remember I have to text Ransom my address. Without adding any other words, I send it to him and put my phone back down on the nightstand. While The Office plays on the TV, taking my mind off Ransom, I feel my eyes struggling or stay open.

It's morning, nine o'clock, and my phone buzzes. I look down at it, waiting in the kitchen of the apartment with my coat on, and see that Ransom texted me. 'I'm here, come out' he sent, so I take a deep breath, grab my purse and walk out the door. Once I get downstairs, I can already see Ransom leaning against his beautiful blue car through the windows. I can't help but smile, walking out of the doors and watching him look at me too. "You look beautiful" he let's out, offering me his hand. "That's new, you complimenting me" I add, raising both my eyebrows as I gently take his hand. "Well, yes. Maybe you should get used to it". He opens the door to his gorgeous BMW Beemer for me, and doesn't let go of my hand till I'm sitting down. Taking a quick little run to the other side of the car, he opens his own door and sits down next to me. "Ready to go?" he wonders, starting the car while he keeps his eyes on me. I just nod in reply, softly smile at him and look out the window as Ransom drives us to the parking lot next to the store. I reach down to unbuckle the seat belt, but he takes my hand instead.

"I don't hate you, Amelia" he starts, looking right into my eyes. My body tenses, but not necessarily in a bad way. I stare back at him, not knowing what's about to happen but definitely feeling my stomach tighten. "I never have. All I feel when I'm around you, is... Well, anything but hate. You're beautiful, you're amazing, you're fucking hot, Amelia. All I can think about when I see you, is... A lot, but one of those things is kissing you" he explains, while I slightly look at his lips for a moment. I silently let out a little breath, keeping my eyes there as his trail off to my lips as well. He takes his free hand, and puts his fingers under my chin to make me look up. He slowly leans in, moving his strong but gentle hand to my cheek now, and places his soft lips on mine. It's like a bomb explodes in my body. I see fireworks, I feel good, I feel some kind of relief. Ransom deepens the kiss as I start to kiss him back, and unbuckles my seat belt for me. The hand he used for that now moves to my other cheek, pulling me closer and closer like I couldn't be close enough.

One of his big hands later on moves to my thigh, giving it a squeeze before he lifts me off my seat to put me on his lap, grabbing me by the waist. I rock my hips onto his while we make out in the car, feeling like the two of us are the only ones in the world. "I fucking love you" he mumbles against my lips, only before deeply kissing me again. He's attacking my lips like there's no tomorrow, and I don't mind it. I don't mind it one bit. The things he's saying to me only turn me on even more. I grab his cheeks in my hand, just letting my body fall to his while his hands are gently squeezing my hips. "Hey," Ransom suddenly starts, causing me to stop the kiss abruptly. "I do, fucking love you, Amelia-Rose Primrose" he whispers to me, moving his hand up to my face to push my hair behind my ear. I softly smile, look at his lips and nod my head. "I think deep down, I've always known. I love you too, Ransom Drysdale. I love you, too" I reply. A smile appears on his face very fast, he happily shakes his head and gives my lips a long and deep kiss again. "Let me show you how much I love you...".
