14- Kidnapped

Drishya, confused and afraid, shouts into the empty space.

Drishya: (shouting) Koi hai?

Her voice echoes, but no response comes. Anxiety builds as she looks around the room. Determined to escape, she struggles to untie the ropes binding her. After persistent efforts, she manages to free herself.

Wearily, she stands up and approaches the main door. Her hope falters as she discovers it's locked. She attempts to open it repeatedly, frustration mounting with every failed try.

The effects of the drug injected earlier make her weary, and tears stream down her face. She thinks about her family waiting for her at home, her mother, her sister, her brother, and for some reason, Anirvaan, whose thoughts comfort her in this desperate situation.

Brushing away her tears, she resolves to find a way out of this unknown place. Determination fuels her efforts, and she continues searching for an escape route, clinging to the hope of returning to her loved ones.

Anirvaan, restless and worried, is joined by Abhiram on the sets. The place is eerily empty, with only Manish present, sensing the tension in the air.

Abhiram: Bhai, aapne police ko inform kiya?

Anirvaan: (hastily) Haan, Commissioner sir ko call kiya hai. Vo aa rahe hain.

Abhiram nods in understanding as Manish attempts to reassure Anirvaan.

Manish: Calm down, Anirvaan. Drishya mil jaayegi.

Anirvaan looks at Manish, trying to find solace. The worry for Drishya's safety is evident on his face. Soon, the Police Commissioner arrives. 

Having a friendly relationship with Anirvaan's father, the commissioner addresses him with concern.

Commissioner: Anirvaan, kya hua? Sab thik hai na?

Anirvaan: Uncle, kuch thik nahi hai. Meri friend Drishya, jo yahan ki set manager hai, she is  unreachable hai, and I am damn sure she is in problem.

The commissioner listens attentively, gauging the seriousness of the situation.

Commissioner: (taking charge) Tumhe kisi pe shaq hai?

Anirvaan: (nodding) Uncle, kal raat jab main usse ghar drop karne gaya tha, tab ek car hamara peeche kar rahi thi. Initially I thought that maybe someone was there with the same direction as ours but later that car followed us till her house but however I distracted them, toh mujhe doubt hua. Aur aaj maine set ke bahar vahi car dekhi. And after that she is missing.

The commissioner absorbs the information and contemplates the situation.

Commissioner: (yet concerned) Tumhari friend ki kisi se dushmani toh nahi?

Anirvaan: (shaking his head) Nahi, uncle. Kal se thodi pareshan thi vo. Usne bataya ki uske tayaji uski shaadi zabardasti karwana chahte hain, but her mother refused and her uncle threatened them.

The commissioner takes a deep breath, ready to delve into the investigation to find Drishya.

Drishya, still groggy from the drug injection, struggles against her restraints. Her attempts to escape intensify as she hears approaching footsteps. 

The door creaks open, revealing a man entering the room.

Drishya: (startled) Kaun hai aap? Aur mujhe yahaan kyun laya gaya hai?

The man, Monty Kakkar, smirks as he gazes at her.

Monty: (derogatory) No wonder you are beautiful.

Drishya feels uncomfortable under his lascivious gaze.
