~Haruka~

"M-Makoto," Haru said to his gentle friend, "can I tell you something?"

Makoto raised a brow. "Uh, sure... What do you want to tell me?"

The black-haired man looked down and shuffled his feet on the ground. "Y-You see... I want to confirm something, but I don't know how. I-I... I want to know if I have feelings for (Y/N)."

His friend's eyes grew. He grinned at the thought that Haru could like someone in a romantic way for the first time, and had other worries, aside from the water. He agreed to help him and whispered something in his ear. "You should try doing that. I remembered reading a part in some manga similar to that." He chuckled. Haru accepted the challenge.

You were gazing outside the window at your desk, cheek resting on your hand. You were done eating your lunch and had nothing else to do. Suddenly, Haru walked towards you and sat at the empty chair in front of you. His face went closer to yours, so that your noses were a centimeter away. You were able to feel each other's breaths. Your face flushed. You had no idea what was happening. Whenever you backed away, he goes forward. As of now, it's been 7 seconds. "H-H-H-Haru..?! W-W-What are you doing..."

Haru's face immediately turned bright red. He pulled himself back and stood up. "G-Gomen," was all he said. He quickly exited your classroom.

~Makoto~

"Makoto? Makoto." Haru tried to grab his attention. Makoto flinched and squinted his eyes. "A-Ah, gomen!! Umm... what about your fried mackerel?"

His friend sighed. "We're not in that topic anymore. What's up with you? You're zoning out a lot more than before."

"O-Oh? Is that so??" He looked at the sky. "Mhmm. You're right; I am spacing out a lot. I guess it's because I've been thinking about someone a lot just recently." He scratched the back of his head and laughed.

"Oooh~!! Who is this 'someone' you're thinking about, hmm~?" Nagisa asked him with curiosity. "Please tell us! Or at least me!"

Makoto shrugged as his face started to hint a shade of red. "I-It's this girl named (Y/Full/Name). I met her at the Iwatobi SC with her little brother. She may seem like a shy person at first, but she's actually really sweet and nice inside. She may be a little clumsy, but it's worth my time to catch her when she falls. We seldom hang out, though, but I wish I could just spend more time with her. You know, she--"

"Makoto-senpai, you've told us enough," Rei said. "Theoretically speaking, with this feeling--"

"Maaan, Rei-chan, you never understand! Mako-chan likes (Y/N)-chan very much. There's no such thing as 'theoretically speaking' when it comes to stuff like this. Try falling in love for yourself." Nagisa folded his arms and gave his megane friend a look of dissatisfaction.

The gentle giant chuckled. "I'm really glad I met her..."

~Rin~

"Rin-senpai, you broke your fastest time record for the day! That's really cool!" Nitori praised the shark. "Actually, you've been swimming really fast recently. I wonder what might have gave you the inspiration."

The swimmer took off his goggles and went up to the surface. "Yea, I wonder too..."

"Rin-senpai! Rin-senpai!" Momo called. "There's a cute girl who wants to see you~!" He dragged you by the wrist and presented you to Rin proudly. You blushed and slightly bowed, trying to avert your eyes to his wet muscles while tucking bits of your hair behind your ear. "H-H-Hello, Rin-chan," you greeted shyly.

Rin's face turned deep red just by sensing your presence. Flustered, he put back his goggles on and dived into the water to do another lap. The silver-haired shota quickly restarted the timer. You squinted your eyes in confusion. "H-Heh? What's gotten into Rin-chan?" you questioned.

It was only a minute that he came back. All of your eyes widened in surprise at how much speed Rin put into his swimming. "W-Wow... sugoi..." you heard Momo murmur. "R-Rin-senpai, t-that was the fastest time you ever swam..." said the other boy with the timer. Your mouth formed a huge grin. "Good job, Rin-chan!" You extended your hand out.

Rin blushed and grabbed your hand, still not making eye-contact with you. "T-Thanks..."

Your phone vibrated from your pocket. "Ah, hang on. I need to take this call." You excused yourself and walked away.

Nitori smiled at his senpai. "Now I know the answer on who gives you the inspiration~..."

"Shut up or I'll crush your skull."

~Nagisa~

It was strange that your friend, Nagisa, didn't ask you to come with him to eat lunch together today. When you approached him to offer him to hang out with you, he simply replied, "U-Um, I'm sorry, (Y/N)-chan, but I have work to do." You could make out the nervousness by the tone of his voice. For the rest of the day, you remained restless.

Nagisa went to hang out with Rei. He wanted to talk to him seriously about something personal. "Rei-chan, you know, there's this girl that's been running around my mind lately..." Nagisa said shyly, wiggling his shoulders.

"By any chance, is it (Y/L/N)-san? She's the girl that you've been hanging out with ever since you met her at school." He adjusted his glasses.

The blond boy nodded hesitantly. "(Y-Y/N)-chan makes my heart go doki-doki for some reason. I-I've been really embarrassed just saying a word to her, and looking at her in the eye for even a second." The shade of red on his face deepened. "I-I think I like her!! Rei-chan, what am I supposed to dooooooooooo~???"

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that."

"Why noooooooooot???" Nagisa nuzzled his head on his friend's shoulder.

"Because I am not an expert in something as illogical as love. Try to ask someone else. But, I think you should keep your feelings to yourself until the right time arrives."

The boy's glassy eyes sparkled. "Waaaah!! Thank you for the advice, Rei-chan!!" He tackle-hugged Rei.

"O-Oi!! Stop it!"

~Rei~

You were hanging out with Rei on the quiet rooftop alone after you were done studying for the day. The two of you sat by the wall and watched the fluffy white clouds slowly drift in the sky.

"Hey, Rei-chan," you said as you pointed at a cloud shaped like a butterfly, "look there; it's a butterfly." Getting no response, you raised a brow and turned your head to see your friend shaking restlessly. "Rei-chan, is something wrong?" you asked curiously.

He took a deep breath. "Lately, I've been feeling weird. It started with my class performance becoming bad, due to spacing out without knowing at first. Then, somehow, my face heats up all of a sudden, and I get irregular heartbeats every now and then. It feels like it's about to burst..."

Your cheeks became pink. "R-Rei-chan, a-are you...?"

The blue-haired man pushed up his glasses. "I believe so, (Y/N). I have theorized the cause of all these sudden problems. I-I think I..." He placed a hand on where his heart is. "...may have cardiac arrhythmia!"

"H-Huh?! I-Is that a really bad thing??" You looked around to think of something to do for a brief moment. "W-Well... i-if that's the case..." You crept your hand up to his chest, averting your eyes from him. "M-Make sure you get better soon... because I'll--everyone'll get sad..."

Rei's eyes widened at the realization that had just hit him. No, this feeling doesn't mean anything near from scientific... he told himself. This is the illogical feeling when you like someone. He smiled.
