First Date (Fail)

~Haruka~

"Hey, (Y/N)... Do you want to come with me to the pool after school?" Haru asked.

Your face flushed. Your inner self screamed in delight that you can finally get to see your boyfriend's bare muscular triceps and abs. You nodded quickly and kissed him on the cheek before heading to your classroom. It wasn't direct, but you sensed that he meant it was a date.

Once the dismissal bell rang, you dashed to the school's pool, where there you could see him already positioning himself for a dive. You rested your chin on your hands, watching the beautiful view of him. "Haru's form is so graceful..." you muttered to yourself.

All of a sudden, the shower room's door swung open, and a blond energetic boy came out, following by a taller guy with red glasses and an even taller one with green hair. You blinked, startled by seeing all of the different muscles before your very eyes. "Wait--no. This is supposed to be a date between Haru and I," you remembered.

"Haru-chan~? Date~??" the blond swimmer said in your ear. You flinched, sliding away from him as your face turned red. "Y-Yeah. I think... but why there other people here?" you asked.

"Hm? You don't know? We have swimming practice today." 

"S-Swimming practice..." You mentally slapped yourself. "O-Oh, okay... I guess I'll just watch you guys then..." For the rest of their practice, you sulked in a corner, since you felt really down that you expected too much.

~Makoto~

Now that you're going out with the guy of your very dreams, it's time for you to go out on the date of your very dreams. When the giant asked you, you tackle-hugged him in delight, repeating yes over and over.

You were told that the date will be at the park. When you entered the premises, you could already see Makoto, but with two children on his both sides, clinging onto him like koalas. "Ah, she's here, onii-chan!" one of them said pointing at me. The three approached you. "Hello, (Y/N)-chan," Makoto greeted, laughing sheepishly. "These are my little siblings, Ran and Ren. I told them not to follow me but they insisted."

You blinked. "U-Um, no, it's okay..." You shrugged.

"Who is she, onii-chan?" Ren asked him.

"It's onii-chan's girlfriend, Ren," Ran answered, crossing her arms.

After that, they had an argument on whether you were a deserving woman to their big brother. Makoto sighed and tried to stop them. He apologized to you. "I'm sorry, (Y/N)-chan. They'd usually be like this." You shook your head and stated that you were fine with it, even though you weren't. For the rest of the day, you felt like the third wheel, while the twins continue to cling onto your boyfriend.

~Rin~

The shark asked you out on your first date after being forced by his peers to do so. Upon answering yes, they ran up to your boyfriend with sparkly eyes, having a little celebration. He facepalmed and apologized for their stupidity.

You were to meet up at a fancy restaurant by the sea. Colored lights were hung across a thin line stretching from pole to pole. When you arrived, you immediately saw Rin wearing a black long-sleeved polo under a maroon-colored vest. He stood up and assisted you to sit down across him. "Wow, Rin. I never knew you were such a gentleman," you smirked.

"It's obligatory. You would whine anyways if I didn't do so." Rin called the waiter and you both gave your orders to him. Once the food came, you tried your best not to drool over your favorite (Favorite Food) in front of your boyfriend. You tasted the food and gave out a a smile of satisfaction.

Under the table, you felt something poke your leg. You looked at Rin, who was casually chewing pork in his mouth. He raised a brow. "What's wrong, (Y/N)?"

"Did you just kick me under the--"

You saw a hand crept up from beneath the white cloth, trying to grab some sizzling calamari. When it was touched, a boy's shriek was heard following by muffled noises. Rin lifted up the cloth, revealing a crying Momo sucking his finger and a scared Nitori. He twitched his eyes. "You are going to get it." The boys squirmed, running for their lives as the shark chased after them. In the end you were left alone, having to pay the bill.

~Nagisa~

"(Y/N)-chan! (Y/N)-chan! Let's go to the movies together! There's this new movie I wanna watch!" Nagisa rested his head on your lap, making irresistibly cute puppy eyes at you. You agreed and called it your first ever date.

♡~Timeskip~♡ 

When you entered the cinema with your boyfriend, he immediately dragged you to the food section after purchasing your tickets. He bought 3 large buckets of popcorn, 2 sodas and a bag of candy for him to share.

You entered the dim room where the movie is just about to start. The two of you sat at the perfect seats with the best view. Once the lights turned off, you felt a weird vibration right next to you. You looked beside you and you could tell that Nagisa was shaking in fear. "Why are you shaking, Nagisa?" you quietly asked.

"I-It's a horror film, (Y/N)-chan! Uwaaah! I'm scared!!" He grabbed a hold of your arm, spilling half of your popcorn bucket. You then received stares and 'shh's from the people around you.

During the movie, you did not understand a single thing on what was happening because of your boyfriend's constant cries, gasps, and screams while popcorn flew in front of your view. You were kicked out by the staff 15 minutes later.

~Rei~

You and Rei went to the public library, doing nothing else but study for a test. You sighed, thinking that this considered "date" wouldn't turn out so bad. Apparently, it did.

The moment the two of you entered the building, he pushed up his glasses and dragged you to a wide table by the window, where you had to rely on the sun as your source of light. He told you to sit in one of the chairs while he searches for reference books.
While waiting, you stared at the quiet surroundings, rethinking that this isn't the ideal date you dreamt of. When he came back, you had the last drop of hope that he would turn the atmosphere upside down. You twiddled your fingers , thinking of a conversation starter. "S-So, Rei-chan--"

"What is it, (Y/N)-chan? Aren't you going to study with me?" he asked, flipping through thin pages of a book.

You rested your head on your folded arms on the varnished table. "No, I think I'll pass..." you mumbled. You sleepily watched your boyfriend read and take notes for the whole period. You felt really sad that this date didn't turn out as planned. What else would you expect from him? After all, he is a brainiac and total theory freak, but you still loved that side of him.
