"Hello, Y/N," Castiel's low voice carries over the rain. "We need to talk."

You blink furiously as the rain begins to pick up even more. "Why did you come? I didn't pray for you!" You shout over the thundering clouds above.

"I have a message for you," Cass explains and steps closer.

You roll your eyes and turn from him. "How did you even find me, anyway?" You yell as you begin your trek back toward civilization.

"Chuck said you'd be here," Cass informs you. You scoff at this answer, finding it all too poetic that now of all moments you get a leading role in Chuck's story.

"Leave me alone, Castiel," you warn.

"It's urgent," Cas begs and steps in front of you.

"I don't care if it's urgent!" You argue. "I am done with all of this bullshit! I am done running after Dean. I am done hunting demons, and fighting angels. I just want to go back to my normal life of hunting werewolves or... or vampires!"

"It's not that simple," Cass's graveled voice softens. "Can we please just talk."

You look up at the rain clouds above, realizing that the long hike will be excruciatingly cold and uncomfortable if you went at it alone. "Can you get us somewhere dry?" You ask, and before you can blink you are no longer standing on the side of the road.

Looking at your surroundings you notice you're right back at the Toreador motel where earlier that week you had so desperately needed to escape from. Fantastic you think and head toward the bathroom. "What's so urgent?" You call out as you dry your hair on one of the mildew smelling towels.

"I understand you've been having some... hesitations," Castiel slowly recounts as you exit the bathroom. "I am here to tell you, the path with Dean is the right one."

You drop your towel and let out a shaky sigh. "The path with Dean is the right one?" You scorn, "who told you that? Was it Chuck?"

"Yes?" Castiel questions, his face showing uncertainty toward your hostility.

You throw your arms up in irritation. "I don't know what to do here, Cass... I really don't," You scoff. "So, please, enlighten me of my predestined life to be nothing but Dean Winchester's girlfriend. And don't leave out any of the lackluster details."

Castiel nods, obviously not picking up on your sarcasm and begins informing you of everything he knows. "I really don't want to meddle with the plan," he informs. "But, seeing as Chuck already told you all so much, it only seems fair."

"Are you going to get to the point?" You ask impatiently.

Castiel let's out a heavy sigh. "It may not come as a shock to you that Dean and Sam play a big role in stopping the apocalypse..."

"I've read the chapters," you roll your eyes and fold your arms defensively.

"You also have a part to play," Castiel boldly states. "And it is not just as Dean's partner. You are a crucial piece to the puzzle. I don't have all of the details yet, but..."

"You're a fucking angel, Cass, what do you mean you don't have all the details?" You scorn.

"It's not that simple," Castiel argues. "What I do know is... Without you, Dean won't be able to carry out his duties, and Sam may not make it out alive."
