After Jennie's speech and announcement of showing she's the mysterious heir of Kim Empire now renamed as Kim Odd Atelier Empire by non other than Jennie Ruby Jane Kim herself. She had a private talk with her father resulting to why Hoyeon was here.
"I didn't invite that woman, it was your uncle" Mr. Kim says also surprised that Hoyeon who he'd threatened years ago to leave Jennie had returned, but with power.
"Joy could've told them about Hoyeon. You said Taehyung was seen with Uncle and Joy right?" Mr. Kim nods since he's kept his eyes secretly on Taehyung since he knew something was sketchy. Jennie couldn't be helped and has to deal with it.
Jennie returns to the people but her grandfather steps in-front of her with a cunning smile plastered on his face. Her uncle stood beside him and Jin wasn't with them but with other people he talked too. "It's so good to finally see you my dear granddaughter" He hugs Jennie and this was unavoidable for Jennie since cameras were on them and people stared to witness this fake family tension between them they'd believed.
"It's great to see you too Grandfather" Jennie fakes her sweet smile able to see the desire of her grandfather want to kill her. It was no difference with Jennie since she knows her grandfather was also behind the death of her mother.

Jennie knows her grandpa killed her mother to take her down because she inherited the family empire instead of him who should've had it but Jennie's great grandfather gave it to his granddaughter known as Jennie's mom and not his son known as Jennie's grandpa and father of Jennie's mother.
As Jennie stared at this grandfather of hers a desire to killing him boiled in her body, but with many guests and cameras around she held it in.
