It was the next day and I was at Joy's funeral not giving an F about her death. Honestly I was bored wondering if there was wine around. Lisa came with me and we were just watching Joy's casket get placed 6 feet into her grave.
My friends were crying and of course I was too, though it was all just an act to look sympathetic. Jisoo was the same since she didn't care but had to cry while she hugged Rosie who was actually crying for Joy's death. Even Lily Depp and her girlfriend from Los Angeles came for Joy's funeral. Though Lily Depp looked a bit scared as if she knew she was dead meat.
Probably because her dead uncle worked for Lunita and now he's dead and now Joy's dead who'd also worked for Lunita. Lisa told me that she threatened Lily Depp for answers about Lunita, how she knew Joy and why joins the Lunita gang. Wonder what she thinks of me now that I'm known as a Kim.
The funeral ends and everyone was leaving. There weren't much people to begin with and it was mainly us who grew up with her and some random people I've never met, including Hoyeon and the woman she was with during my announcement as Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. News reporters were recording us from afar since they couldn't come close to here.
Lisa and I were leaving until someone grabs my hand making me turn to see who dared. "J-Jennie..." It was Hoyeon and I could feel Lisa's gaze on us. Gosh why is this woman boldly doing this while the media and Lisa are watching!?
Lisa grabs my waist and makes Hoyeon let go. "Ms. Jung, I rather you not touch what's mine" Lisa whips my hand like I had just touched something dirty. Hoyeon eyebrows knitted with a desperate look of wanting to talk to me.
"Your woman is watching, you shouldn't leave her standing alone" I say turning to leave with Lisa.
"She's not my woman Jennie! She's just my secretary and I only brought her so I wouldn't be alone while here" Hoyeon says and Lisa holds me along side her as if she didn't want me to respond or look back at her, which I didn't.
"Tsk, can't that stupid bitch stop and give up?" Lisa muttered under her breath annoyed. Bambam who was our driver came to pick us up and we both hopped inside. I'll admit, I didn't want to look back but I did end up looking for Hoyeon from my window. She just stood like in defeat as Bambam took off taking us away while Lisa was holding my hand making a call with someone.
"Are we going to the Villa?" I asked Lisa and she nods saying we would and continued her call. I also asked if she was coming late because she was going to visit her father today but she said no because her father left to Thailand for a business meeting and would see him once he returns back.
