The next morning,
In Krish and Chaya's room,
Chaya woke up with aches all over her body, opening her eyes and seeing Krish sleeping peacefully,
She mumbled slowly,
"He looks so innocent when he's asleep, but a devil when he's awake",
She got up and moved into the closet to get ready for the day.
After getting ready she came out with a few things in her hands,
She brought her file and certificates out and was going through them and looked into her laptop for job opportunities,
As her family was not financially stable at the moment and now that she got married they had few more debts to be repaid, which she will obviously pay back but of course without her parents knowing about it,
And get out of this debt shit which got her into this whole trouble.
She was thinking about the past while doing her work,
Her family was well off with her father having a decent senior manager job and income but suddenly one day everything took turn, her mother suddenly started facing issues moving around as it would pain in her knees, when they got the tests done it was found that she has to get knee replacement surgery which would cost us a bit, but eventually managing everything father got it done after taking a loan from his company. Everything was getting back to its place.
After a while there was a sudden change in the management of her father's company which increased his workload resulting in stress and pressure and managing expenses became difficult with her being in the final year of MBA and her younger brother just entering his first year of the college.
Then one day on his way back he collapsed on the roadside, she received a call and immediately ran to the hospital where he was admitted, they informed her he had a mild heart stroke and they have to perform an immediate bypass surgery for the blockages found,
She stood numb as tears were flowing through her eyes, she asked them to continue with the procedure and that she would arrange the amount to be paid.
She informed her mother about this and assured her she would arrange everything and everything's going to be fine.
She first approached her father's company to discuss if they could further extend the loan where she got the biggest shock of her life.
Flashback
"Ma'am you've been asked to meet the managing director", An employee asked her and showed her the directions to the office,
She knocked,
"Come in" a voice replied,
She came in and saw the chair turned towards the wall with a file in the hands of the person,
"Sir I have been asked to talk to you about the extension of the loan and I would like to replace my father's role until he recovers, I submitted my resumé along with the medical status of my father" she said,
The chair turned around and the jaw dropped off the Chaya looking at the person who she hates to the guts sitting on the chair,
"Well well !!, who do we have here?" He said,
"Aryan, what are you doing here" she asked,
"What do you think " he asked,
"You are the MD of this company?" She asked questioningly,
"Well I own the company as it's my family business" he said with attitude and added,
"So how are you doing? Has it been three years? He asked with a sly smile
She was shocked to find out her ex, Aryan Desai was her father's boss, like what were the odds of him being the owner of Desai corporation,
"I guess it did " she replied with a neutral face,
"So you need an extension on loan which your father already took " he asked looking at the file and then at her,
"Yess, And I would like to propose to replace him for a few months till he recovers and I have more than required qualifications " she answered
"Well that role has been filled in, but I have another job for you, if you agree to it I will sanction you the loan right this instance" he said coming straight to the point,

She was in dire need of the amount so without thinking twice she agreed to it, to regret on it later,
He signed the required documents and passed on the cheque to her,
She said thank you and left.
He smirked evilly thinking about his plan for her.
On the other side,
"I found the best candidate for our job, there would be no suspicions " Aryan said,
"How are you so sure she will do this?" A female voice asked,
"She would because she and her family owes us a huge amount" he said with a crooked smile,
"Well, make sure she agrees to it and everything is according to the plan" Another female voice said,

As days passed her father got his treatment done and was on bedrest for 3 months with little movements allowed.
She had to take care of all the household chores, her brother as well as her studies, as her mother just had her surgery 3 months back, she was asked not to move around much for 6 months.
She completed her graduation with top scores.
She was asked to come to the job after her graduation.
She reached the office and asked the lady at the reception for her appointment status,
She asked her to go to the MDs office,
She reached there and entered after knocking,
"Sir-r " she called after thinking about how to address her ex turned boss,
