On the other side, in Riya's room,

They were sitting on the bed,

Riya was gossiping about the whole world and Vridha was just listening to it but her mind was somewhere else,

She remembered the talks which she heard when they were just married for around five months,

Past,

Vivaan and Vridha were married for five months now,

Vridha was trying her best to get close to Vivaan by initiating talks, hugs, giving small meaningful presents, getting ready for him, wearing his favourite scent,

Until one day, it was past bedtime so she went towards his study to call him to bed,

When she held the door knob and slightly opened it she heard him saying,

"I don't love Vridha, I don't want to go through the love shit",

"It's a different scenario now",

Rivaan said and added,

"Try to make an effort, you will start liking her and also you will love her",

"I think I can't do this", Vivaan said,

"You cannot snatch her rights on you, you both are married",
Rivaan said,

Vridha was not able to hear anymore so she left,

"And I'm sure this debt thing has nothing to do with your marriage, there wasn't any kind of deal made for you guys to get married, they did not ask for anything yet", Rivaan said,

"She can ask maybe a little later",
Vivaan said,

"Not every person is the same, you need to move on from the past and heal your trauma,

He is not coming back and it was not your fault, by ignoring her you will lose the person you deserve to be with",
Rivaan said and left sighing,

Rivaan once saw his ignorant behaviour with Vridha and when he confronted him he said that she was the same like all the other girls, money minded,

Eventually he was proven wrong a few weeks later, he found that he was wrong to judge a person without knowing them,

He thought that getting close to her and giving expensive gifts might reduce his guilt and a way to gain forgiveness,

After that night listening to their talks, she cried and slept, from the next day she started minding her own business, spoke to him when he asked or wanted something, stopped dressing up for him, indulged herself in household chores and her designing studio, to keep her mind away from those words he spoke because she would break down whenever she remembered it,
