"So, any clubs that catch your interest?" Aphmau asks while pausing to look at one of the anime posters nearby. Travis smirks at that.
"You clearly have one that you're interested in."
Aphmau's face flushes, while she waves her hands nervously.
"W-Well, I enjoy watching anime and reading manga and everything so I thought a club where I could talk about it would be cool and all!" She stutters out, avoiding eye contact with the both of you. You let out a snort.
"Sure, Aphmau."
Travis eyes the rest of the colorful boards and posters around the gym, before looking back at the two of you.
"Well, I'm kinda interested in theater."
"Really?"
He looks to the side while rubbing the back of his neck. His eyes divert to another club poster. "Y-yeah. It's going to sound cliche, but I've always kinda wanted to be Romeo in Romeo and Juliet."
You feel yourself in a mix of feeling bad for the poor boy and wanting to laugh at him. He is such a hopeless romantic, it's adorable.
"Wow, wanna be a dreamboat, I see. Huh?"
"I wouldn't call Romeo a dreamboat. But you are such a hopeless romantic."
"N-no, I-I just think it would be cool."
Aphmau laughs and lightly pushes Travis in the direction of the club sign-up. "Why not go talk to them?"
Travis's greenish-red eyes widen at that statement. "Will you two be there to support me?" He stammers out.
Aphmau gives a thumbs-up while you nod your head.
"If you need help just send us a signal."
Travis wanders over to the table, nervously messing with his hands. You turn your attention towards Aphmau who pulled out her phone. Remembering back Aphmau & Aaron were online friends, that's probably who she was referring to earlier. You unconsciously look around and spot Mari & Teony wandering around and helping students. You wonder how Mari got into that position, especially since that's not a canonical event.
Then again, you suppose the purpose of being here is to change things, whatever Irene meant by that. But If she wanted an immediate change why didn't she send us to the beginning of season 6? You snap back into reality to see Aphmau & Teony speaking. You throw in a quick introduction before the bell rings. Aphmau covers her ears, muttering about how loud it is.
Teony snickers, "I suppose it's time for class. You only need to head to the last one on your schedule for today." She pulls out hers and shows the two of you. "If you need any help with the halls you can just ask me or any other sophomore."
"T-Thank you."
"Yeah, thanks."
She smiles, placing her schedule back into her skirt pocket. "Good luck cuties. I'll see you two around."
Just as soon as Teony leaves, Travis comes back beaming.
"I was able to sign up! And even speak to them!"
