"Well, Saturday went well..." Mari starts off as the two of you walk down your usual street to school.
After the fight, everyone came back inside to eat a very awkward dinner. The adults tried to pry about what happened, but nobody wanted to discuss it, at least not at the time. The only good thing is that you were able to take some leftovers with you due to the abundance of food. In conclusion, no, Saturday did not go well.
You roll your eyes at Mari's comment. "Yeah, Well."
The pinkette places her hand on her chest with mock offence."It's true, they could have gotten into a brawl or something!"
"You know damn well Zane's unalthetic ass, isn't going to fight Garroth."
"But it could've happened!" Mari exclaims. "We're in an alternate universe, you never know what could happen!"
You shrug at her comments, too busy staring at the, honestly, more entertaining, school ahead of you. Mari just blows a raspberry as you don't respond to her yapping.
When you head inside the school, Aphmau runs up towards you with Travis in tow.
"Mari! Y/N! There you are!" The girl shouts, causing a few students to look over.
"Did something happen?" You ask. Did Flynn already give Gene the blackmail? Did Aphmau already get blackmailed??
No. She's way too calm about whatever she's going to say; if anything, she's excited.
"No, no!" She grins. "I'm okay, I just wanted to give you something!" She hands you and Mari both individual letters.

Travis frowns as he watches the two of you receive your invitations. "I don't get anything?"
