The Hyperbolic Time Chamber's door creaked open as Airil walked out, Escaro and Ruko right behind him, their strength now thousands of times stronger. Immediately, Airil sensed the unsettling energy outside the lookout. He also sensed Kami, but his power was nothing compared to the new energy.
"Is that Hale?" Airil muttered, a sense of dread clouding his tone.
Ruko confirmed his suspicion. "Yes, and it looks like he got here sooner than expected. And it seems he might be after the dragon balls."
"How do you know?" Escaro inquired.
"If he wasn't, then would have probably killed Kami," Ruko explained. "I'm guessing he already has them."
"Kami wouldn't join a tyrant like Hale," Airil intervened. "Kami is the guardian of Moulara, there's no way he would do that."
Just then, the three of them began to hear two voices from below.
"Alright Namekian, it has been an hour, so where is my rogue?" Hale demanded.
"If you wait just a little longer, your rogue should be here, and the dragon balls will be yours," Kami reasoned.
"I want those dragon balls, and I want them now. Or I will kill you."
Kami mocked. "And then what, I already told you if you kill me, dragon balls won't work anymore."
Hale can be heard smashing a hole in a wall. "Don't mock me Namekian! You know I don't need your stupid dragon balls!"
"Maybe not, but I know you want them. Otherwise, why would you be going through all this trouble?" Kami asks.
The three warriors, concealed, observed the unfolding drama. When footsteps approached, they quickly hid themselves as Hale ascended the stairs, accompanied by Kami. Kami noticed the door to the Time Chamber was open. He swiftly, but subtly closed the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, which aroused Hale's suspicion.
"Are you hiding something from me, Namekian?" Hale interrogated.
"No, of course not. Why would I hide something from you?" Kami feigned innocence.
"Then what was that about?" Hale asked, pointing a red beam at Kami's head.
Then suddenly, a blast erupted from the corridor, striking Hale in the back. Escaro revealed herself, prompting an amused reaction from the tyrant.
"Ahh, there you are," Hale says, ignoring Kami as he gets away. "You know, I was just looking for you."
"And I've been waiting," Escaro yells as she fired a volley of Ki blasts at Hale, who deflects all of them, sending them into the roof, allowing it to blow up.
Just then, Airil emerging from the shadows and delivered a swift kick to Hale's head. However, Hale quickly recovers, grabbing Airil and throwing him into Escaro.
"I see you made a friend," Hale mocked, rubbing his neck from Airil's attack.
Then, pointing both hands at Airil and Escaro, Hale fires a barrage of tiny red Ki blasts at both of them. The small Ki blasts were fast, hitting them before they could even move. Suddenly, Ruko comes out of nowhere and kicks Hale in the knee, making him stop and let out a yell. Escaro and Airil quickly power up to Super Saiyan, their golden aura lighting up the room.
"Interesting. You have achieved Super Saiyan." Hale inquired.
Ignoring him, Escaro surged forward, delivering a powerful blow that sent Hale crashing through the lookout's open roof, before landing on the lookout.
The three land in front of Hale as he stands up. "If that's how you want to play, then so be it," Hale declared, initiating a colossal power-up. The lookout quaked as Hale underwent a radical transformation. He began to grow bigger. His horns get longer and have a more prominent bend in them, The spikes on his shoulder get longer. Finally, with one last explosion of Ki, his transformation compleates.
With a smirk, Hale unveiled his evolved form. "There, that's a little better. How do you like my second form?"
"It's rather impressive," Airil acknowledged, powering up to Super Saiyan Grade 2. An unexpected move that left Escaro protesting.
"Hey! What makes you think it's your turn?" Escaro retorted.
"Fine, go right ahead," Airil conceded, dropping out of Super Saiyan, leaving the stage to Escaro. She then proceeded to transform into a Super Saiyan 2, her hair standing up on end. "When he transforms again, it's my turn."
"Fine," Escaro agreed, launching herself at Hale. Hale jumps back and fires a ball of purplish Ki at Escaro, who knocks it away and fires her own Ki blast, which Hale blocks. Escaro then charges and fires a Galick Gun. Hale moves to the side, but the blast turns and hits him spot on, exploding.
Escaro floats down to the lookout and waits for the dust to clear. When it does, Hale is left there with a large black mark on his chest, but a smile still plastered on his face.
